Asus FX505GD Bios

Hi,

I have a problem with my bios. Motherboard doesn't boot with it.

• Tried my bios with clean ME - didn't help at all
• Tried similar bios dump from this thread - it kinda works, but the boot was delayed and I would prefer to keep original DMI if possible

Laptop model: Asus FX505GD
Motherboard: FX505GD/MB REV:2.0
Serial number : not sure which one is it, so I posted a picture of stickers on MB

serial no is on sticker of the back cover, starts with K3N...

With this bios dump motherboard starts with power button (it doesn't with original bios), but it doesn't boot fully, there is no picture

I had some other problems with motherboard unrelated to bios, but now with this bios MB boots with picture on screen.
I will check if everything works in next days, but I think it's good now

Replaced the IC it8987e as it was shorted and now it needs programming, does anyone have a working EC BIOS? thx

Post the laptop serial number and your bios backup.The EC can be extracted from the bios https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...before-posting

it starts the laptop without programming the I/O chip.. leave it longer, it should go.. if it doesn't go, we find a bios.. post the main bios for this, the full name and model, S/N, etc..

post S/N, full name and model, motherboard model, ,etc.

post the contents of the bios chip even if it is corrupted..
