Hey, guys! Could someone pls take a look at this dump. Laptop powers on to a "Self-healing BIOS recovery processing". Runs through it VERY quickly, like 0 to 100% in 1-2 seconds, reboots and same procedure repeats over and over.
Obviously at this point I've tried all sorts of BIOS reset procedures, none of that helps.
I managed to find a couple of dumps belonging to the systems with Pro CPUs, mine is a non-pro (Ryzen 5 5625U). And I'm uncertain if I can safely flash those as non-pro systems have 2 BIOS chips (32M+2M), while pro systems have 32+16.
Here is a link to an official BIOS download page for my machine.
Also the main chip MX77U25650F isn't included into any of the software that I have (ASProgrammer, Colibri, NeoProgrammer), so I had to read it as a different 256Mbit 1.8V MXIC chip. But got a consistent read from 2 different apps. Can I flash it back the same way?

                Serial Number PW03TLYR
                Machine Type Model 21C6X00100

Good morning, I'm the same. A month ago I bought a second hand laptop, it worked very well, they delivered quickly but one day I wanted to enter the bios but it asked me for a password and I tried to hit enter and I entered the bios but I couldn't modify anything. I asked the previous owner who sold it and he better blocked me and there I had it and for three days I created a supposed bios recovery with the ctrl-q-del keys and turning off at the same time it turned off but I can't enter until I enter Does the password have any help or will I have to take it to a workshop so help me esk I used it for studies is L14 gen 3 of amd ryzen 5 5675u pro

Well, y'all can disregard the request. Issue solved by flashing the 32MB dump from the first post in this thread. I hesitated due to it coming from a BIOS-locked device and the CPUs being different (Ryzen 5 Pro vs regular Ryzen 5), but apparently there was no trouble with that. Password obviously isn't stored in the main BIOS flash, and there are no CPU-specific versions of BIOS for these systems.
So the laptop is up and running. Just replaced the part with winkey using the data from my original dump and flashed it back with NeoProgrammer setting SPI ID to MX25U25635F as MX77U25650F was nowhere to be found in DB. Worked like a charm - both are 256Mbit 1.8V.
Didn't do anything to a 2MB chip. If I'm correct that one holds the EC firmware. I'm not very good at reading the schematics, but if that is the case, the data in that other chip (BIOS2 in schematics) could potentially be a key to password removal.
My system had no password, but unfortuntaly for all who requested pass removal for this board, my FW from that chip would be useless as my non-pro Ryzen has a 2MB chip there, while y'all with R5Pro have 16MB. So that's that.

post moved..next time look for a thread with the name and model, motherboard model of the laptop, and post there, if you can't find it, then make a new thread..

Thanks for all the information, if I get the svod4 do I need to buy adapters to read the NPCX997 chips and the mec chips or does it come with everything?
