Hello everyone, I just replaced the bios chip on my laptop because the one I had got corrupted. I was wondering if anyone has the bin files to the GA503RM so that I could flash the new Bios chip? Thanks in advance!!

It does not work. The program can't flash the bios with that bin. I get an error that says "File size larger than IC size". Looks like I need a file that has a size of 2097152. My bios chip is Winbond 25Q16JWNIQ

Thats the wrong chip, its only 16 Mega bits (lower case b) . The 25Q16JWNIQ is 2MB , 2 MegaBytes

I was able to extract the old BIOS bin that was on the old chip but it is password locked. Anyway to remove the password?

Thats the wrong chip, its only 16 Mega bits (lower case b), not 16MB Mega Bytes (Upper case B)

That’s the BIOS chip that the laptop has.

Its not the only chip on the board.That one is 2MB, you can`t fit a 32MB bios into it. That chip is for firmware,could be for the vBios,USB4 firmware,thunderbolt or whatever, but it aint the bios chip .I hope you havn`t erased that 2MB chip,and if you did i hope you made a backup first or you`re in big doo-doo

First of all tell us what the problem is with your laptop? Corrupted bios or it's just password locked and you are trying to remove the password by programming clean bios?

Got it. Can't really find another chip that looks like that so I assumed it was the BIOS chip.

Maybe you didn't know but there's many different (visually too) SPI NOR flash memory chips, not only the traditional SOIC-8 type as in your picture, like SOIC-16, DIP-8, WSON-8 (8x6), WSON-8 (6x5) and so on.

Most probably the bios chip in your laptop is WSON-8 (8x6):

Didn't turn on for me with this file. Original bios turns on no display then after a while shuts off then turns on again.
