Need reset BIOS Administrator Password on the HP G9 840
Can it be read using the program or must the flash chip be desoldered? ?
Does anyone know which BIOS flash chip is in the G9 ?

      the laptop works
When I enter the bios and want to make settings, it asks for a BIOS Administrator Password

      Thanks

You have to remove the chip from the motherboard...a video as an example..

Thank you, it worked at first, it took a while to show the screen, then it gave me a bit of a problem with the cirrus code, but I was able to solve it, very grateful.

time I have a problem, it starts up, shows the first screen, then it restarts and at that point it starts up, it's a little slow. I thought it might be an update, but it won't let me update the Intel Management Engine and also gives me a problem with an Intel Smart Sound Technology OED driver. Now sorry for my ignorance but it seems to be a ME region issue but I don't know if these 12 gen Intels can clear that region any help with this error

This is the problem that I am having when updating the bios. Maybe you can help me. Now, it has the SPI chip that is next to the ram memories and it has 2 others, one near the USB ports and another next to the nuvaton but I only extracted the SPI ones so if another one is required, let me know thank you very much hp Elitebook 840 G9 SPI.rar

There are two G9 BIOS 25XXX. One on the front and one on the back of the motherboard (when the board is removed and flipped over).
I read this one from the other side.
The small CH361A works well with the new chips with the AsProgrammer.
