I took BIOS u72 as a basis, added part of update 1.04 to remove the image (screen saver when turning on). Then I figured out how to read the DMI zone and, using the HP BCU utility, wrote all my information and exited the BIOS editing mode.

I forgot the motherboard number DA0X8SMB8H1 REV: H. I have a doubt about the dump!!!
For the dump, I copied it from the top chip, not the EC.

You will need to write down both microchips (main+ec) and write down your details (serial number, laptop model, etc.) manually.

The file you posted is too small it`s only 256KB ,you have chosen the wrong chip yourself or the programmer auto-detect selected the wrong one.

Hello I have a GQ4X programmer, but the chip reference isn't in it. I tried the closest one, but apparently without success. I ordered a CH341a programmer today. Once I receive it, I'll read the chip and reapply it, as well as the EC. Thank you for your reply.

open your main bios with a hex editor, search for U85 .Every HP has a BID number yours is U85
