Hello, is there anyone who would be able to help me locate and provide an image or guidance on where I can find the bios chip on the motherboard of the ThinkPad L14 gen 2 intel version and how I could remove the bios supervisor password.

I bought the ThinkPad used so no luck in getting any company help with the password so I want to flash it and remove the password if possible.

Note: I was being an idiot and reset CMOS resetting date and time on the laptop resulting in not being able to access the nvme drive with windows on it until I set time and date (which can't be done without typing in the supervisor password).

It didn't turn on with this firmware. With the original one, it does turn on, but I get an error with a melody. Thanks anyway.

In my case re-seating the 32x0.5mm flat cable on the KBC connector side solved the problem...happened on many Lenovos (even if 1st pin is beeping right!!!)
Tried for at least 6-7 times until I get the real reading...took approx. 1 minute to read 254kb flash.
The writing part take no time...a blink of an eye and get programmed.

thanks, I think for L14 gen2 is 384Kb (NPC68B) , mine took like 8 minutes to read 384Kb and all was "1F 1F"

That was my case too...almost 10 minutes to read 256kb ...and weird content.
