    Re: Macbook pro 13" a1278 820-2879 mosfet subst

    i found that motherboard looks like 820-2530.

    i noticed that u9000 ic H600 pin1 is ON.
    There i have 0v. there is no short. this comes from LVDS_IG_PANEL_PWR
    through a resistor and goes to graphis ic.
    does pin1 on u9000 should be 3v!
    if yes can i replace with J600!

    Thanks

    on more question.

    i removed motherboard and i shorted the pads grn and 3.4v but fan does not
    spin unless i have keyboard connected.
    how to power on mobo for troubleshooting.

    Thanks

      Hey! This is a A1278 macbook 2011.

      Problem: Not turning on / No green light

      Im using by3200s charger.

      Voltajes:

      PPBUS_G3H = 12.26v

      SMC_RESET_L = 3.3v
      PP3V42_G3H = 3.42v

      U7000 =

      Pin 1 CHGR_AGATE = 0v
      Pin 2 CHRG_DCIN = 19v
      Pin 3 CHRG_ACIN = 4.6v
      Pin 10 SMBUS_SMC_BSA_SDA = 3.3V
      Pin 11 SMBUS_SMC_BSA_SCL = 3.3V
      Pin 12 PP3V42_G3H = 3.42v
      Pin 13 CHRG_RST_L = 3.3V
      Pin 14 SMC_BC_ACOK = 0.8V

      Looking for 13" Macbook Pro A1278 mid 2012 820-2565-A Schematics and Board View
      by Rezendes
      Hello, I am looking for any and all files related to the mainboard for 820-2565-A (13" Macbook Pro A1278 mid 2012) schematics/board view.

      I looked through forum search results and google and was unable to find a board view file, I found a pdf of all the schematics but I don't know where the parts physically are on the board as this is my first macbook board level repair attempt.

      The macbook charger has a green light, the battery has been replaced and OS reports Normal status but Not charging. After cleaning a corroded capacitor it crumbled off the board. There...

      MacBook A1278 (3115) No PPBUS_G3H Issue

      Subject: Help Needed: MacBook A1278 (3115) No PPBUS_G3H Issue

      Hello everyone,

      I'm working on a MacBook A1278 with the 3115 logic board and facing an issue with no PPBUS_G3H voltage. Here's what I've checked so far:
      1. U7000 Measurements:
        • Pin 3 has 0V, even though R7012 shows 16.5V from PPDCIN_S5_CHGR.
      2. Resistors:
        • I measured R7010 and R7011 with one leg disconnected, and both tested OK.

      Based on these findings, I believe U7000 needs to be replaced. However, I have a related question:
      • If I also decide to replace the SMC, do I need to order it pre-programmed,

      MacBook Pro M1 Pro Logic Board 820-02100 Mosfet where to purchase?
      by prodigy83
      My reference only: TT10141.

      Problem: I need to purchase a mosfet chip from board 820-02100 M1 Pro, that is supposed to be Q5820 but according to Digikey, the schematic diagram I sent them, neither are relevant to the actual mosfet specification I sent them. I just basically need to find this mosfet to purchase, I cannot find it anywhere and am hoping someone could point me in the right direction without have to purchase this entire allusive board. Already checked with Digikey, Mouser, Aliexpress, eBay. Any suggestions?

      Mosfet specs are as follows:

      How do you test MOSFET in laptops ?
      by Jane
      I tried to use this method:

      Testing an N-channel MOSFET:

      Step 1: Discharge the Gate (turn off the MOSFET)
      Place the black probe (COM) on the Source (S) and the red probe on the Drain (D). The multimeter should show no continuity (high resistance or "OL" – open line).
      Then, touch the black probe to the Source (S) and the red probe to the Gate (G). This discharges any stored charge in the Gate, turning the MOSFET off.

      Step 2: Charge the Gate (turn on the MOSFET)
      Now, place the red probe on the Gate (G) and the black probe on the
