    Dear friends,

I need some advice with programming IT8227 (IT8226 as well). Is it possible to reprogramm EC with Vertyanov rev 3.4?

OK, I found schematic and checked that Vertyanov works well.

        1. If you have a correct connection IC ID response and you cannot read or write then you have an electric interferrence problem, try turning down your other electric devices in the same wall outlet. (sometimes even have problems with electric device in the same room)
        2. If you are not getting a correct IC ID either, then you are probably use A-side instead of B-Side or the other way around in the software option so try swithing.

Strange battery present behaviour in Lenovo Legion 5-15ARH05 mb model nm-d041
          by ferah831208
Hello guys, i need help with this problem, I have a NM-D041 mobo, it came with low impedance in 3v linear regulator rail, the cause was a damaged EC controller ITE8227e-192. I ordered a new one and replaced it. This laptop have a different chip for keyboard management and it8227e pins for programming ITE chips are not accesible through keyboard interface, I flashed it using i2c interface pins with vertyanov programmer because laptop was dead and SPI flash didn't have power (only 3v EC) so it couldn't access firmware stored in SPI memory. I read SPI and extracted it8227 firmware from original BIOS...

          Programming KBC IT8987VG ASUS TUF FX506L RT809F+PEB
          by araxnido
Dear friends, I want to share my experience repairing an ASUS TUF FX506L gaming laptop motherboard: DABKXDMB8E0_F_BKXD. Boardview and schematic are available, as well as the BIOS and ITE ROM.

When the customer brought in this laptop, it was initially dead; it showed no signs of booting for any reason. After hours of measurements, checking each stage, MOSFET, and seeing if there was a short circuit in any capacitor, I discovered a strange 0.7V leakage voltage on the 3V_S5 rail, particularly on the PL9 coil, with the board not powered on. There were 3V_LDO and 5V_LDO voltages, which...

          Hi everyone.
Sice I have not found a solution in here for my problem I create this new thread to help me and help others.

I've got an Lenovo Y540 in with bad IT8226.
Charging port replaced as it was broken.
I bought a new blank chip and installed on the motherboard.
It programed automatically, but a weird behavior started. When charging was plugged in backlight is off, when disconnected charger and its only on battery backlight works normal.
So, I've just decide to update BIOS and through Windows and it updated BIOS and EC, but stop half way...

          i use this settings:
          Quanta G38D KB_pins=32 LEFT DOWN 1MM PD0=26 PD1=22 PD2=20 PD3=15 PD4=19 PD5=23 PD6=16 PD7=18 BUSY=29 STB=21 AFD=32 INIT=25 SLIN=24 KSI4=28 KSI5=27

The board is not starting automaticly when i plug in adapter. When charger/adapter is plugged i have +3VPCU, +3VECACC and +3V_VSTBY, they are all around 3,3 V. I dont have on pin 11 +3v but i used lab power supply and injected 3.2V....and then tried to read.... but again i get error "motherboard...

          MP2886A programming
          by zesko
          Hi everyone,
I have a board with a dead pwm on mp2886a. I order the chip without thinking about programming, and now I just realize my mistake.

Someone know if it's 100% needed to program the chip ? And if so, how to program it ? I see some dedicated board and software but, software is a bit tricky to me, the bad part of the job...

p.s : with the dead pwm chip, the GPU work fine when I disconnect the shorted pwm (6), with the new chip Pgood is 0 and the gpu doesn't start, so I guess it need to be programmed, or it's fake chip..

          p.s 2 : Sorry for my...
