ITE programmer. IT8226, IT8227, IT8586 and others.

Hi everyone.
Sice I have not found a solution in here for my problem I create this new thread to help me and help others.

I've got an Lenovo Y540 in with bad IT8226.
Charging port replaced as it was broken.
I bought a new blank chip and installed on the motherboard.
It programed automatically, but a weird behavior started. When charging was plugged in backlight is off, when disconnected charger and its only on battery backlight works normal.
So, I've just decide to update BIOS and through Windows and it updated BIOS and EC, but stop half way while updating EC and got stuck.
I forced it to turn of and now its dead again.
EC chip has corrupt firmware.

So, I have no idea what's is the best Programmer to reprogram the EC.

I don't want to buy new blank chip and have same problem after auto programming.

I personally use the SVOD3, but has been superceded by the SVOD4. Fairly intuitive interface, which is needed as the support is virtually non-existant. As a result, it's not the ideal device for people who need to be spoonfed. You have to work stuff out yourself usually.
