    Help programming IT8987 with vertyanov

The motherboard is HP Omen 17 G38D, ITE8987, i am getting error message that "motherboard not powered up?
    i use this settings:
    Quanta G38D KB_pins=32 LEFT DOWN 1MM PD0=26 PD1=22 PD2=20 PD3=15 PD4=19 PD5=23 PD6=16 PD7=18 BUSY=29 STB=21 AFD=32 INIT=25 SLIN=24 KSI4=28 KSI5=27

The board is not starting automaticly when i plug in adapter. When charger/adapter is plugged i have +3VPCU, +3VECACC and +3V_VSTBY, they are all around 3,3 V. I dont have on pin 11 +3v but i used lab power supply and injected 3.2V....and then tried to read.... but again i get error "motherboard not powered up?"

what am i missing? Any help appreciated.

1st pin location ok? Also check pin connections from programmer to mainboard, sometimes the flex cable has bad connections. GND connected?

yes, everything is properly connected...i checked several times with multimeter connections from programmer to mainboard. Gnd connected.
Also i used programmer on several other motherboards with success so the only problem is this one.
And the motherboard is fine..its working and i am trying to extract ITE from it to use it on some other motherboard but always message "not powered up"...
I didnt used programmer till now with IT8987, maybe there are some differences there...

Sadly can not help you there, i have used the programmer on G35D, ITE8987 and i did get a read and write there. Can not remember details - but read on programmer ver 2 and ITE8987 should be possible.
A few times i have had connection only when mainboard is powered on - not just connected to power adapter.
I see that Vertyanov has not answered to your post at ascnb1 also...

Samsung UN39EH5003FXZA won't stay powered off
            by Hannibal_Hector
            Hello,

Purchased a broken Samsung UN39EH5003FXZA (Version CD01) to have fun fixing. When I first acquired it, I did not connect any video signals and only plugged it into the wall. The unit booted and showed the “no signal” window and I could navigate all menus and change sources. I unplugged it, connected my over-the-air antenna to the coax, powered it on, got the unit to scan the HDTV channels, and I think then the TV self-shutdown with the melody. When I powered back up (melody), it would show the channel selected on the OSD and after a couple of seconds, it self-shutdown...

            Programming KBC IT8987VG ASUS TUF FX506L RT809F+PEB
            by araxnido
Dear friends, I want to share my experience repairing an ASUS TUF FX506L gaming laptop motherboard: DABKXDMB8E0_F_BKXD. Boardview and schematic are available, as well as the BIOS and ITE ROM.

When the customer brought in this laptop, it was initially dead; it showed no signs of booting for any reason. After hours of measurements, checking each stage, MOSFET, and seeing if there was a short circuit in any capacitor, I discovered a strange 0.7V leakage voltage on the 3V_S5 rail, particularly on the PL9 coil, with the board not powered on. There were 3V_LDO and 5V_LDO voltages, which...
