    hp 250-g6 \la-e802p no power

    Hello,

    I have la-e802p Mainboard
    +19V_VIN ok
+19VB not found and ACDRV not found
    PRB9 is ok
if connect battery and chrarger the device work on battery
i changed ic CHARGER but same problem

Can anybody let me know what I'm missing?

    1) Link or post a schematic if available for this mainboard.

    2) https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=90356

    3) power down -> remove the battery -> review the logic board -> locate the DCin connector.

Review the usual 2 x DCin mosfets near this connector. What are the markings on these parts ?

Near these parts will be the charger IC with 'BQ' or similar markings.

What are the markings on the charger IC ?

Often the fault you have raised are linked to the DCin mosfets. We need confirm if they are defective or not using resistance checks.

With no power -> meter in resistance mode -> check the resistance of each mosfet as follows:

    source (1-2-3) & drain (5-6-7-8)
    source (1-2-3) & gate (4)
    gate (4) & drain (5-6-7-8)

post each measurement and the scale used on your meter for these tests. If the resistance is low, the mosfet is defective and must be replaced.

Measure and post the voltage values for:

        Vcc pin 20
        REGN pin 16
        ACDRV pin 4
        CMSRC pin 3

        for charger IC @ PUB1.

Since pin 4 is not available then ACOk is not available,in other to generate this you have to follow this steps.

You already changed the charging ic and problem still persist,I believe the charging IC you changed is fine,if yes then check the impedance of ACOK, check the impedance of CMSRC and ACDRV and also check the communication via continuity of ACP and ACN to CLR.

Don't forget to check the impedance of charging MOSFET and discharging MOSFET too.

These are very important to generate ACOK/ACDRV

                  Thank you my friends
I changed all the charging MOSFET and discharging MOSFET
And the device is working properly

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 - no power
                    by PantherDave
                    Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

                    Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74 power issue

                    Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

                    Hi,

Try to repair a Thinkpad P72 EP720 NM-B723 MB with I7-8850H processor and N18E-Q1-KB-A1 (P3200) GPU with 6GB memory. Unfortunately there is noinfo what happened to the laptop. I got it disassembled with parts missing, like keyboard, battery.

Unfortunately I have no schematic available for me (requested in the sub porum) but got the boardview file.

Symptom: after connecting to the charger the power led light up for one-two second and switch off. After a couple secons the power led light up for half a second and switch off. No battery, no IO board, no...

Desoldering gun station modified to use a 18 volt @ 20 amp switching power supply
                    by sam_sam_sam
I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump

One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy...
