    Mbp a1990 emc 3215 820-01041-a

    Start logo apple but restart.
    I tried to restore in DFU mode no errors but reboot in DFU mode.
    I try to enter Diagnostics but when it finishes loading it restarts.
    I tried new battery.
    I tried without touch-id, touchbar, trackpad and keyboard.
    Any idea?
    CPU very hot

      Why is the CPU very hot ? (other than it is a pig of a silicon design)

      Do you have the proper heatsink and thermal compound onboard ? Be sure that the heatsink is firmly attached onto the top surface to dissipate the heat.

      DO NOT run without a heatsink else the CPU will be killed. I recall how I accidently grazed my knuckles over the CPU without a heatsink and will not forget that experience anytime soon.

          it's not a temperature issue.
          restarts when loading recovery mode or diagnostics mode.
          no safe mode or verbose mode

                  I have peltir element glued to heatsink with something thick and sticky like putty... it cant be separate with force or heat without risk of breaking ceramic or damaged semiconductor layers due to force (eg if try twisted, pulled, lifted)... method that I am using is a single thread for needle (thin and firm thread of pure polyester that cant break with bare hands without glowes), and using it like a saw between heatsink and peltir. I holding a heatsink with knee against table. It slowly cut throug putty and release glued parts. It is slow proces, but preserve undamaged component and heatsink....

                  i9 32GB Ram 1TB

                  Hi, I found short on one of 6 black nand (total 1TB).
                  i removed all 6 nand ( voltages all ok) and now i want to program with JC P15 but for A1990 2019 there is only 512GB configuration.
                  I try A2141 1TB configurazion with TSB4228 but the position on pcb is different ( U9300 and U9400 is no stuff on A1990 but present on A2141 and U8800 and U8900 is no stuff on A2141 but present on A1990 )
                  macbook with A2141 configuration run on recovery but don't complete it.​
                  anyone can help me?

                  I have RX26PG2 graphic card with incomplete original heatsink, only aluminium plate... but in original solution it look like such bad termal design that I asking if is proper fanless heatsink be adequate replacement ot better... what you think? Till powering on, it is propper hot......

                  Hey everyone,

                  I bought a MacBook A1990 with no screen. I bought it knowing the motherboard was defective but wasn't sure what the problem was until I received it. It actually turns on but as you see from the attachment, it has vertical stripes, on an external screen!!

                  The board is neat. Not opened before for sure. Just a little dust, nothing more.

                  Recovery using wifi can be opened, as can also be seen in the photo but it doesn't go all the way through after connecting it to a wifi. It downloads the initial Recovery files but never completes the rest of the...
