Now I'm trying to identify a buck DC-DC IC, SOIC-8 package (I think no exposed pad), pin 2 is input, pin 3 is output SW, pin 4 is GND, and marking is GMDAE in large letters, nothing else. Possibly chinese. If that helps, there's another buck IC in the same board with same package, pinout and letter style, and marking is GoEAX, possibly same manufacturer.

Wrong, because picture shows a SOT23-8, and this one is a SOT23-6. Also, top marking in picture is ACM and this one is AGM.
Then, it's a MPS MP3414DJ.

Hi, I'm hoping this is in the correct thread. I was hoping that someone would be able to assist me with locating this component its from an oculus controller and this is pumping out a lot of heat. I have checked for shorts on capacitors around it but none located thanks

I've found a SOT23-6 with marking |AZEM that looks like MPS made, but it's not in your list. Any idea?

It's in the secondary side of a Chicony USB-C laptop charger (A18-045N1A).
