No. Not till a voltage higher than this zener is reached, the zener remains out of circuit.

Remove all power. Meter in resistance mode.

    Check :

    Source and drain
    Source and gate
    Gate and drain

Of mosfet Q7010. If you have a donor of this part, replace it. Confirm the resistance of the resistors mated to this mosfet.

I do not quite understand. what should i measure it from?
      check :
      Source and drain
      Source and gate
      Gate and drain

and I take the Q7010 from another board.

Meter in resistance mode. Check the resistance across source and drain pins of the mosfet.

The pin function are shown in above posted schematic as S, G, D.

Then measure the other combinations and post the measurements here. We are checking if the mosfet is defective with a low resistance check.

Hi, :-) thx we made it together. It was the R7012 defective! I exchanged it and now the LED lights up green and orange and I have my 16.4 volts

General question about MacBook power rails for repair.
            by SarcasticOP
I am looking at an A2337 and found this for the order of power rails and what they do. Can this be confirmed before I dive into hunting down power rails that do not exist or are not neccisary?
            • PPBUS_G3H (12.6V-12.8V)
              • This is the main power rail that supplies power to the entire system. Check this rail first, as it must be present for other power rails to work.
            • PP3V42_G3H (3.42V)
              • This power rail is derived from PPBUS_G3H and is used to power the SMC (System Management Controller) and other essential circuits. It should be present if PPBUS_G3H is working correctly.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 - no power
            by PantherDave
            Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

The Macbook Power on only when I connect the AC adapter without battery. It Never power on by clicking power key on keyboard. I also tryed to power on by SMCbypass on the motherboard.

When Macbook is ON and I press ON/OFF key the macbook go off without problem

            Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74 power issue
            by GLISIT
            Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...
