    RAZER BLADE advanced 2022 rtx 3080 no post/display rz09-0409cec3

    Hi guys, i just got a brand new razer blade 15 rz09-0409cec3 that turns on keyboard light, fans but no display at all. I managed to get bios bin file from razer but im not sure if this chip is THE bios chip. It is a Gigadevice 25q64cig (Uee704 Aj2103) or something like that. I believe that is the bios chip, I uploaded photos from all of them in case i am wrong. https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...9M?usp=sharing If its ok i will remove it, read it with ch341A , backup and share bios file here so you can check what is wrong. I will try to flahs bios bin file from razer too. Will upload all together once im sure its the correct one. Wich program do you recommend to read it ?

      i have this laptop on my bench few weeks ago. bad bios update. after flash dump from vendor. all ok

          Could you give me some guidence? Im not able to read the chip with ch341

              i think it is 1,8V ic. check by datasheet if u need adapter

                      The only ic I haven't been able to dump is the Winbond W25R256JVEQ so I guess that must be it? It's almost flush with the motherboard though and is impossible to get clips on.

                      If that is the bios chip - any tips on how to read/ write without desoldering?

                          Dunno what's the question here. The datasheet of the Chips will give the answers. Top marking of the flash in question is W25R256JVEQ, so 256 / 8 = 32MB. It is WSON package so you have to put wires, or even better, to solder it on a suitable programming board.

                                  The best solution is to carefully remove the flash chip, solder it onto a small smd to dip bridge board. Then perform your reflashing.

                                  Do you have a flash programmer? Which one?

                                  Be careful to confirm the peak VCC pin voltage of your tool and the target flash device before proceeding. Else you can kill the flash memory device.

                                      I’m in Toronto. I have an EZP2019+ that works at 3.3V, and a not volt modded ch341a. All good with pin alignment and stuff; being extra careful to not fry anything. Think I’ll be fine as long as I can find a tech somewhere willing to help with the soldering (open to suggestions if you know of anyone)

                                                  I picked up a Razer blade 14" (2022) from a friend who said it "overheated" and he replaced one of the fans. He gave up on it as windows wouldn't work/re-install. He gave it to me, and i've been working on getting linux on it. Installing Mint i was able to get about 1/4 through the installer before it froze. Now i can't even get the installer to boot. I am met with a kernel panic.... sometimes. Sometimes it just hangs on the boot sequence.

                                                  I've run memtest quite a few times, and more often then not...

                                                  Hi! I have a Razer Blade 15 2022, with a RTX 3060.

                                                  One day, while using Linux, the internal display suddenly stopped working.

                                                  On Windows, it says that the internal GPU has stopped working (with error code 43).

                                                  I have tried removing the coin cell and the battery, and replacing the RAM, with no success on fixing anything.

                                                  I'm looking for directions to fix this problem, and, first of all, I would like to be able to access the BIOS and change some settings (which is currently impossible as it is always shown on the internal display). There is a setting...

                                                  Hi folks,
                                                  I want to solve a Razer Blade 14 (2022) RZ09-0427 with Ryzen 9 6900HX and RTX 3070Ti from scrap, and I need your help with the diagnosis.
                                                  I have checked (I hope) all the voltage rails and found no shorts to GND and B+ except for the CPU VDDCR_SR rail (see the photo), which is near zero ohms to GND.
                                                  When plugged to PS, the laptop charges the battery, and after pressing start, it supplies voltage to all voltage rails except for CPU VDDCR_SR one and, of course, the dGPU, nothing more.
                                                  I have no experience in this type of repair, so please let me know if the low resistance...

                                                  Hello, I bought a Razer blade 15 advanced with I7-9750h and RTX 2080 without Display. Seller said it works with external display. It arrived and I connected it to my Samsung TV. It gave me an external Pic with windows 11 start screen. But I had no Windows account so I removed the SSD and installed it in my other laptop to install windows 10. put it back in the Razer but from this time I never got an external pic. Can anybody help me to get back an external pic?
                                                  BTW: I‘m sure the LCD-cable is bricked and not the LCD itself.

                                                  today I got Razer Blade 14, Ryzen 9 6900HX and RTX 3070Ti.

                                                  Laptop was completely dead. I found shorted CPU VRM mosfet, shorted 19V mosfet and blown battery fuse.

                                                  I replaced it all, but still on CPU coil where mosfet was shorted I got very low resistance, near 0 ohms. On other CPU coils I got around 3 ohms.

                                                  Laptop now raises voltage on whole board, but still nothing comes on the screen. CPU gets 0.7V on all coils except the shorted one. CPU gets only slightly hot, below 40 C.

                                                  I removed coil and injected 0.7V, it draw around...
