    A1706 4 TBT3 EMC 3071 - Randomly booting

    Hello everyone!

    Got a weird one here.
    A1706 4 TBT3 EMC 3071
    serial C02SRB43GTFJ

    Would boot 1 time out of 10 lets say.
    Trackpad click is active when I power it up, but most of the times I dont get any image.
    The few times I got the login screen, it freezes.
    Diagnostic gave no issues, when I was able to run it.
    It always goes to 20V when I plug the charger, and I never see the fans spinning, even when CPU gets very warm.

    Could this be a BIOS issue? Board is clean, no liquid ,no previous soldering whatsoever.

    I post here the original BIOS, could it be related with that?
    Has someone had similar symptoms with a similar machine?

      So recently I got this macbook from a friend of mine. He went to the apple store after his mac did not boot up anymore and they told him that the mac has got a cpu issue. After that he asked me if I could take a look at it and so I did. I got the schematic and boardview from this forum so I started looking for an issue and the only thing I've found is that the capacitors on Page 10 (C1000, C1001,...) all are shorted to ground, so after that I soldered 2 wires to C10G0 and put 2V onto it.       Dear all,

      My issue is the following:
      Tv suddenly started to make Strange things and went out. After disconnecting power and restarting, it tried to start but failed. After each attempt it got worse and worse. Now only the Stdb light is on and it is not booting.

      I checked the power supply -> Backlight on when disconnected from mainboard, so I guess Power supply is ok.
      Additionally the upper right part of the main-board makes some whistling noise -> probably issue there and therefore issues with booting

      Question 1: Where should I start to...

      I got a bare Dell Lattitude 5590 with missing battery, RAM, RTC battery and Storage, I wanted to put some components in it and use it as my home laptop. After adding a FRU 2GB DDR4 2400 SoDIMM RamaxelRAMI've tried booting Linux Mint from USB, I got an error while trying to boot it. I tried reseating the stick, different slot, didn't help.
      I tried to boot Windows 10 installer, as that was the stock system my model came with, got a BSOD as soon as the installer started booting, different code every time. I've tried switching to AHCI mode, I've tried linux in legacy mode, I've tried compatibility...

      This issue has me stumped! I have this Lenovo IdeaPad and the SSD (NVME) keeps on randomly disconnecting. It'll stop being detected in BIOS randomly and when I turn it off and back on sometimes it'll detect again and boot up just fine...only to crash after a few minutes and either boot again or stop being detected.

      Things I tried so far:

      - Reset the CMOS by removing battery, held power buttons 60 seconds, all that jazz.
      - BIOS is fully updated (had to use CHA341 because I bricked it the first time trying to update it)
      - Tried multiple working NVME drives...

      The previous owner said this MacBook was fallen from the table. I don't know if this was the reason of the malfunction. No visible damages.

      I'll explain the history of the repair:
      Original it started with 20V 900mA current, drops to 700 and ends with 660. CPU became hot. Every important tension was present as it should be.
      Reballed CPU, no solution.

      Wrote a file with clean ME into EFI chip, no solution. Sometimes while doing further measurements in cold condition I've got a backlight for a few seconds.
