elitebook 840 g1 Bios chip location damaged

    Hi,
I have a elitebook 840 g1 and I tried to remove the bios chip and the bios chip location is damaged. Do you think that It can be repaire or is my motherboard dead.

    Many thanks for your help.

You do need some minimum tools and some experience.
Google it or YouTube it "repair damaged broken PCB pads" to get an idea.
Practice first on an old / destroyed board, if not, you're risking getting this one worst.
