Lenovo L560 will not power on after reading BIOS

    Hello everyone,

can you please help me with Lenovo L560. I only connected the Programmer to read BIOS file and save it, then the laptop will not power on again. I did not flash the bios or anything I only saved it to my pc.
4 laptops L560 the same issue after connecting the reader they will not power on. no lights on keyboard or power DC JACK as if its dead.
I tried different charger ( 4 chargers) i tried with the ram and also the COMS battery or holding the power button for 30sec but no power at all.
    Would appreciate any advice.

    Thank you

Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 Desktop - Corrupt BIOS
          by grimacelord
          Hello there.

I am working on a Lenovo Legion T5-26AMR5 desktop that currently has a corrupt BIOS and I have been unsuccessful thus far in trying to fix it myself.

          History:

          1. This computer came to me initially with an error message that said "BiInitializeLibrary failed 0xc0000001" or "0135 fan error". It would always be one of the two errors. It should be noted that when it produced the fan error, there was no physical problem with the fans. They were all spinning just fine.

I searched for this error online and discovered...

Intel Arc A380 videocard power limit remove - BIOS needed
          by iulik17d
          Hello everyone!
The Asrock A380 low profile card (ID 8086 56A5 - 1849 6006) have an power limit of 45W. Intel removed the possibility to increase power using the software utility, anyway the card is in an proxmox machine that doesn't run windows.
The same hardware is in another form by the name Asrock A380 Challenger that have the same VRMs and the power limit is at 60W. I searched online and found on another website an .bin bios file from the Challenger variant, that I flashed using an CH341a. Flashng worked well, I put the card in PC and booted. GPUz shows that new device ID is 8086...

I bought a laptop. The seller said the bios was locked. I was looking for a way to remove this ban.

Help Disabling Flash Protection Range Registers on Lenovo P360 Tiny BIOS
          by abhorsen
          Hey guys,

Hope you all are doing well. I come here from Win-Raid because I am having issues disabling Flash Protection Range Registers so I can flash my BIOS from within Windows using Intel's IFW tool/using flashrom within Linux, however I cannot due to the above mentioned error.

Here is my thread on Win-Raid detailing the whole process I went through: https://winraid.level1techs.com/t/re...h-gen/95478/27

Essentially I managed to boot into Windows while shorting PINs 1+5 of my audio chip to disable the HAP bit...
