I believe the [B]2203 error[/B] is related to the screen configuration.
I own an [B]X1 Carbon Gen 8 (2020)[/B] and an [B]X1 Yoga Gen 4 (2019)[/B]. Both were functional, but the X1 Carbon Gen 8's LCD is broken (though still usable, and its specs are better). Since both motherboards share the same physical dimensions, I attempted to swap them.
After the swap, the first boot displayed a "configuration changed" message and restarted. Subsequently, both machines now show the [B]2203 Invalid Configuration Error[/B] on every boot, requiring me to press ESC to skip....

I try L560 just now, now it is dead...
Sounds like the programmer is output high voltage that damege my Thinkpad L560 board.
while I am lucky with NEC model. it still survive after READ/WRITE BIOS.Re: help me patch NEC VersaPro VK24MX-T

I can comfirm autopatcher is not working, and will destroy your notebook.
I have a L560, it is working. I set the SVP, read BIOS, use autopatcher patcher the bios. write patched BIOS back, and it cannot power on.
I reflash back the original BIOS, still not power on.
I am not de-soldered BIOS CHIP, using onboard flash. this method works for L380/L390/T480s etc. but it failed for L560.

still stuck at logo stage for the second one. (NEC-VK24MXZGT_outimage_patched.bin)
this model is not extractly the same as LENOVO Thinkpad L560.
after NEC PC was bought by LENOVO, the NEC model is based on LENOVO model, but a slight customization. such as change some I/O ports. but the BIOS setting are looks same. I think the SVP is the same mechenical method ether....Leave a comment:
