    Hp 14-ac 6050a2730601-mb-a01 no power

    19v connection decreases and becomes 6v, and this is the measurement result of the charger ic BQ728 IC CHARGER PIN1(ACN) = 6.85V PIN2(ACP) = 6.85V PIN3(CMRSC) = 2.94V PIN4(ACDRV) = 3.03V PIN5(ACOK) = 0.08V PIN6 (ACDET) = 3.49V PIN7(iOUT) = 0.04V PIN8(SDA) = 0.01V PIN9(SCL) = 0.01V PIN10 (ILIM) = 0.19V PIN11(BATDRV) = 2.20V PIN12(SRN) = 2.11V PIN13(SRP) = 2.14V PIN14 (GND) PIN15(LODRV) = 0V PIN16(REGN) = 6.10V PIN17(BTST) = 6.08V PIN18(HIDRV) = 2.35V PIN19(PHASE) = 2.15V PIN20(VCC) = 19.14V

    Remove all power.

    Meter in resistance mode.

Check & post the resistance on the first mosfet that is connected to the external adapter:

    a) resistance between SOURCE & DRAIN ?

    b) resistance between SOURCE & GATE ?

    c) resistance between GATE & DRAIN ?

Re: Hp 14-ac 6050a2730601-mb-a01 no power

      first mosfet measurement result

      S - D = 470
      S - G = 0
      G - D = 0

DOES THIS PROBLEM NOT MEAN FROM CHARGING IC Fault?

this is the first mosfet circuit on the 19v line that drops at the output

          1) post the full markings of this first mosfet.

          2) see the resistance chart at this URL:

GTX 1080 TI Gigabyte Aorus low resistance on vmem
                by cind12
Hi guys, i was wondering, i've got 9Ohms on Vmem, one of the mosfet was shortet to ground, so i've desoldered hi and low mosfets nad still low res, then i removed all of the memory chips, and the resistance is still low, so did you had maybe a card with that low res on memories, and the card was working fine ?
Removed the U1866Q and still without result, i dont have thermal cam so can't see where is hot spot when incjeting voltage.
The resistance on core is ok 0.1Ohm ((Power 0.8V when on)
Resistance on 12V 4K ohms (Power present when on)
Resistance on 12V PEX 4K ohms...

Lowest possible resistance on laptop motherboard rail - Guide Table request
                by Nagy Daniel
Hi, I'm Daniel, and I'm new to the world of repairing motherboards.

I would like to create a table, or more likely a guideline about the voltage rails and their possible resistance rail.

I know that the motherboard design has a very big depend on the rail's resistance, but I would like to know what is the smallest value for a rail that can be acceptable. For example, I heard that some new gaming motherboards can have 0,5 Ohm resistance on the GPU rail, but on an older type, it could be a sign of a shorted GPU rail.

So, I generated a table with AI so I can...

What is the lowest acceptable resistance on a coil without considering a short on PCB
                by Jane
I have Asus FA506 ( board DA0BKXMB8D0 Rev: D). Can you please roughly indicate what the lowest resistance I should measure on a coil? I know that a low resistance is allowed on coils in CPU or graphic circuits but can you provide acceptable values of resistance?
                Thank you.

645 G9 with Ryzen 5 PRO 5675U | Resistance to ground of CPU?
                by loopster
                Hello everyone, I have a 645 G9 here with a Ryzen 5 PRO 5675U.
This board has a blown inductor component above the driver chip to the CPU coil, and I am wondering whether the CPU is shorted/dead.

Could anyone please measure the resistance to ground on the leftmost coil/inductor to the CPU?
My resistance value is 2.2 Ohms, which doesn't look good to me.

Thanks to everyone willing to give a value.

Janome DC3050 Sewing Machine Pedal Resistance
                by CG2
OK, this is a long shot. I got this sewing machine cheap because it's end of line, ex-display, and had no pedal. The genuine pedal costs £60, while Ebay knock-offs go for around £15. So I went for the knock-off, it doesn't work, and I'm not sure whether it's the pedal or the sewing machine that has the problem.

Now this is an electronic machine, unlike the old fashioned sort where the pedal was a big resistor in series with the power to the motor. Here, the pedal is just (I think) a variable resistor fed with a 5 volt supply, and limited to a current of 5 milliamps. Assuming that...
