      Hello, I have 10K on R4804 and 10K on R4805. From J6100 to R4805 I have no resistance. Regards

Re: MacBook Air A1932 2019 No Sleep Mode

See if you see the proper voltage on J6100, pin 27 (SMC_LID_RIGHT) when it is CLOSED / OPEN.

It sounds like the trace from J6100, pin 27 is not reaching R4805.

Once you confirm that J6100, pin 27 is truly toggling the logic levels, then it will be practical to apply a wire between these 2 points but post your results first.

I have 1.6458V open and closed on pin 27 J6100 with MacBook Air is on and connected with Magsafe! Was that right?

Remove all power (no adapter / battery).

              Meter in resistance mode.

Check if there is a trace between Pin 27 (SMC_LID_RIGHT) of J6100 & Pin 1 of R4805, pin # 1. You should see close to 0 ohms as this is meant to be a solid trace between these 2 points on the logic board.

Did you say that you can access both sides of this logic board to probe the parts?

It will be a good idea and then should allow us to validate the issue for a possible fix.

At this time, concluding that your RIGHT LID sensor or trace is not OK. Really do not understand the need for a LEFT and RIGHT LID sensor for the clamshell.

In theory, if one of the LID sensors is ok - the LEFT LID sensor appears to be ok, then we can try to operate with the single working sensor.

Hello friend. Sorry for my English. My problem is very similar to the friend above. When I turn on the Macbook with the lid closed or I close the lid to Sleep, it starts the system but there is no image, everything is black. I imagine it's the damaged lid sensor. Is it possible to buy it or disable it so as not to interfere with the process? It's my macbook, I'm resurrecting it lol

The sensor itself is located in the speaker which is connected to the headphone jack board. Replace it if the screen does not turn off when you close the lid or the sleep function does not work.

I don't have other Speakers to exchange. I thought the sensor would be this one in the Annex. Is there no sensor on the lid? Add yourself to the base?

I just bought other Speakers. Only 1 side of the sensor was working. Left side. Right side wasn't working.

It has a sensor on one side. if I'm not mistaken. the second is a dummy. I had several with this problem and after replacing one everything should work, only if you did not turn off this function through the terminal. The sleep mode function can be disabled and enabled as far as I know through the terminal

I never had this problem here in Brazil. No technical friend has ever caught this error.
I'm going to change the Speakers, if not I believe it could be on the Mainboard. I just changed it. It was supposed to be working well.

this is due to moisture getting into the speaker grids

Now I need to get Fingerprint working. For some reason it fails and I cannot add fingerprints to TouchID. Have you been through this?

Most likely the fingerprint is not original. I have this problem on the A1706 model but have not yet decided how to make it work.

Hi all dear friend., today I am working on 820-01521-A logic board (MacBook Air A1932 2019) stuck on 5V .19 milliamps. The history of this logic board was liquid spill on major components. First gave a good cleanup & both CD3215C00Z were getting very hot, so I replaced both. Now on the 12V coil, there is only 5v present & 3.3V is perfect. In some area like PPVIN_G3H_P3V3G3HRTC , PPBUS_G3H_TPAD etc., 12V is perfect. On the 5v coil .2 volts only. I checked the enable signal on the regulator chip, enable is NOT present. The logic board is very clean, I do not see any signs of spill anymore....

                                      Hello,

                                      I recently acquired a faulty Macbook Air 2019 A1932 with mainboard 820-01521-A.

Seller claimed that device just stopped working suddenly.

Device does not boot or give any signal of life other than the white led on mainboard.
Using cheap multimeter and microscope I went trough list of semi-random diagnostic steps:

                                      Voltage measurements

Charger in USBC-B (closer to display) everything disconnected.

If the lid is closed or the system is put into sleep mode for more than 30 minutes or so, then when I try to wake it back up by tapping a key or by tapping the power button I get no response. The device is warm but the CAPS lock light on the keyboard is unresponsive.
