Recently been given Samsung a50 with broken screen. The screen was not responding and had been black. The phone seemed like working, as every morning alarm was ringing, so decided to replace a screen.
Got the screen from ebay (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224485895...53.m2749.l2649) and changed existing one. However, the problem is that after replacement touchscreen is not working. I would have thought, that might have damaged data cables (1/2), so got replacements, but same. Phone boots & gets to screen lock, in which I can't press anything.
I split 2 electronic units from a50, to make sure, that nothing else might prevent touchscreen, but no success. Unfortunatelly, for some reason can't boot into recovery boot mode to reset the phone
Could you check attachments, for more detailed info.
So my questions are, is there any other troubleshoots I should perform? What most likely might prevent digitizer not to work? (badly handled new screen, electronic unit damage ?)
