Hi friends.
I see there are many clever people here.
I purchased used Note 10 plus phone, and it doesn't have good battery cuz it's been used probably more then a year.
Since I'm not an expert into phones but my own thought is that fast charging with high current wears out battery more quickly and damages cells compared to regular charging.
I don't need fast charging at all so I disabled that option in phone, since I don't care if my phone will charge 1h or 2.5 h (with regular charging).
But want to ask does fast charging damage the battery cells as time passes by.
I think the charger uses 3 A at fast charging at that is really too high current for a battery of 4200mAh.
Correct me if I am wrong, but that current is used in cellphone batteries who have more cells and high capacity.
So I disabled the fast charging option and I like my battery to charge with lower current slowly and I don't care how long it will take.
I also charge the phone while it's off,and won't drain battery below 15 %.
I installed Accubattery which reccomends me charging to only 85 % which gives it lowest possible wear out cyle.
Is that good idea?
Thanks in advance.
