Another update. CPU does not start. After heating it up, laptop powers on. So bad solder joints under the cpu..

EDIT: I've read that its pretty normal. GPU does not heat up abnormally.

EDIT2: GPU is probably dead, it's the only thing slowly heating...

I have been working on a dead Lenovo Legion 5 15ACH6 laptop. It had a blown IT8227E KBC chip. I've replaced it with a new preprogrammed chip as well as a new +3V IC. Now the laptop powers on, keyboard lights up briefly, fan spins for a while and the power light on the side is blinking. It's stuck at 0.60A current draw. Ive also tired erasing the EC via I2C bus using SVOD4, but it's the same. What am I missing?

I have been working on a dead MSI MS-16R4 laptop. It has a blown mosfet on the input side, but also the PU15 is shorting everything to ground. The IC is labeled as AKUK 234. Does anybody know what it exactly is? Im unable to find a schematic for this board :/...

I've tried another genuine 65W dell charger and guess what... it's working and the battery is charging. Well again thanks for the help and kinda sorry for wasting your time with my rookie mistake.

The value of PR4305 is 33R ohms. Neddle is present and straight. Also i've unplugged the charger connector and the voltage to ground on PIN 4 (white wire) is 0V on aftermarket 65w charger and 0.07V on original 45w charger

Genuine 45w charger shows 3.3V
Aftermarket 65w charger shows 2.3V

I have been working on this laptop mentioned in the title, it initially had a blown PQ4410 mosfet. After I replaced it and repaired the damaged PCB the thing started working again, but there is still another problem. The laptop won't recognize genuine battery and charger. I have 3.3v KBC PIN36 PS_ID and this is pretty much where my knowledge ends.

Where should I go next? Replace the KBC or measure something else?...

Yup, installing an original used battery solved the issue. The laptop is charging now. I've spent more time on this than i would like to admit.

Both mosfets measure in M ohms in any possible way.

I'm gonna go and read the whole thread while I wait for the "new" used battery.

What do you think about my measurements of the charger IC? I've tried to compare them with the datasheet, but honestly working on this laptop is something new for me. I usually deal with dead bios, dead DCin mosfets, or simple shorts that I can diagnose quite easily.

The second screenshot of batterymon with 96% charge is with the original ASUS battery that the laptop came with. But as I said there is 0V present on its terminals. (The cells are 4.03V)

I have been working on this laptop mentioned in the title, it initially had a shorted capacitor. After I replaced it, the thing started working again, but there is still another problem. The laptop was running off a charger, the battery was reporting 96% charge... but when I unplugged the charger, the laptop died. I've measured the battery voltage - 0V. I think it is locked.
