Okay okay, this is really nice. I was not aware of this missing VCC, LOL. Thought it should be ok, since the adapter isn't plugged... Thank you for clarify this!

So the Battery-to-VCC Rail stops exactly at Pin 1 of PD8903, an SCHOTTKY BAT54CW-L. The Battery voltage can not pass. Is this the culprit? :>

Can you explain for me what do you mean with "CLR"? Do you mean the Main Rail or the Charging Circuit? TY!

EDIT: I have in Diode Mode no reading in both directions beetwen BAT & VCC, i guess The Schottky is bad.

Re: ASUS UX510U won't Charge after Charging IC Replacement.

I am out of town and currently do not have laptop to check boardview

If schematic diagram available I can tell

CLR means current limiting resistor where
      ACP and ACN

You have to check mosfet at most right side if you are at CLR that MOSFET should allow from right to left
and block from left to right

If it blocks right to left vcc will not get battery and it should off means block left to right when ac adapter plugin so 19v do not reach battery connector

Re: ASUS UX510U won't Charge after Charging IC Replacement.

Because i have No Idea which one is for you the third mosfet (Maybe the Battery one?) I measured more than advised, Just to be Sure.

Battery Only Mode: On Battery-to-Sys Mosfet i have battery Voltage on S, D & G (little difference between Voltage).

Additional i have battery Voltage on both Sides of both Current Resistors (DC-IN & Battery). So everything seems normal yes?

I have Only to Check the Resistor on SDA & SCL Rail. I'll do it soon.

but First Again Back to the Schottky Diode, so you can follow without Board View.

Pin 1 is +BATT, PIN 2 is +DC-IN and Pin 3 is the Output to VCC of BQ24780S. Diode Reading between PIN 2 and PIN3 is nearly 0V (it Acts Like a Wire) but Reading beetween PIN 1 and PIN 3 is O.L. This is the reason why i am Sure, this Schottky is Bad. I believe It has to Switch to +BATT when It's Not getting It's DC-IN Voltage.

Should i measure additional Readings in Diode Mode at the Mosfet?

I replaced it and... IT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!

Now it is Charging fine, even when i unplug the Adapter und Plug it Back and The blink Code is gone.

Thank you for assistance, especially Stingerchamp & piernov! <3

PS: i Challenged an issue with the GPU after. Had Problems with Driver and Not recognized by CPU-Z. The solution was to Put the original BIOS dump Back (i Tried one from BIOS section). The "wrong" BIOS caused a weird jumping VCore Voltage too. Maybe It's a hint for Someone Here. Now everything is fine. <3

PPS: Does anyone Knows a good explanation, why it was Charging after "Cold Boot"?

Of course! I've already Assembled the Laptop, but Have taken Pictures before.

                Again, Thank you!

Sorry, afaik No schematic available and i was even not able to Open it with Android boardviewer. There is a repair Guide, but i Would say nothing helpful inside for this Case.

Anyway No need to hurry. This repair already lasts sooo Long. So i'll be Happy If you or Someone Else Take a Look soon.

                    Greetings
Could you kindly share the repair guide for ASUS UX510U.
I have a no power, no charging Asus UX510U which want to fix and pass it to my son.
                    Thank you.

Suggest to start a new thread but link to this one for some of the details.

With the meter in DC volts mode, carefully measure the voltage to ground of the charger IC.

                      Measure the voltage of:

                      a) REGN
                      b) VCC

Be sure the meter probes are fine tipped else do not start the voltage checking. They will short the pins and cause other damages.

What is the history of this unit? Just died one day? Using official and original power adapter?

hello, i have been sitting on some microsoft surface pro 4 tablets for a while now. i was originally tasked with replacing the battery in one of the tablets, and ended breaking the screen and logic board in the process. decided to buy another tablet with the same specs. got that screen off successfully of the second tablet. the logic board appeared good, but i guess i shorted something out in the installation process of the logic which i've read is a common issue if there is no barrier between the logic board and battery pins. all that said, i ate costs of the repair and have...

                        Hi

                        Acer A515-43

Fail: Does not charge battery, has low voltaje on connector.

Laptop didn't want to turn on, only charge led blinked.

I found PQB5 (mosfet high battery charger) in short, voltaje in +12.6V_BATT was 19 v ...

I changed it, changed PQB6 too and now battery charger voltage is 4.4V but battery is 3 cell, 11.25v, then is very low to charging.

Laptop turns on without battery and works fine, but with battery turns on and turns off inmediately, I suspect battery bad but I don't know...

Charge a L19D3PDA battery externally from the laptop
                        by Klevjetack
Is there a way to externally charge a L19D3PDA battery from the laptop. I have a broken charging port on my laptop and am trying to find a way to charge the battery for it. I have been doing some research and I have found that there is a module, TP4056, that can be used to charge Li-ion batteries. It says it is used to charge single cell Li-ion batteries. The L19D3PDA battery is a three cell battery. Is it possible to use the module to charge my battery and it would just be very slow? Or would that be a bad idea. Is there a different kind of module I can use to charge my Li-ion three cell battery?...

How can I charge that battery pack?
                        by razenxd
                        Hello,
it's not a laptop/desktop related question but I figured that someone here will have the right knowledge.
At work we use a few Aldebaran(now Softbank/United Robotics group) Nao Robots which they use some custom 6S li-on battery packs.
Nao robots tends to draw from the battery even if they are shut down, and the BMS tends to be a little aggresive, if the pack stays on a turned off robot for 3 months it's gonna lock and will refuse to charge.

Now, I have noticed a few things.
The "dead" battery, while connected to charger and NOT Charging will...
