lenovo 320-14IKB no power

Hi this board has no power if I plugged the charger but If I put voltage over the P2 section it will power on the unit , I already change the PQ6414A (pq201) but it wont pass the voltge to the pin 3 ,




those the PU201is faulty ?

how can it be identified?

You need to measure BQ24780s pins specially ACP/ACN/ACOK/ACDRV/ACDET/VCC/REGN/PMON/ADP_I pins.

First check if PQ202 is shorted drain/source/gate.

pin 28 20v
pin 6 2.8v
pin 4 1.3v
pin 5 no voltage
pin 1 1.5v

ACDRV is low PIN 4 1.3V it should be arround +22V above & PIN 5 ACOK +0V what is the voltage on pin 24 BQ2478 check PC214 for any fault & PR202/206 ?

SORRY but id fount out the big problem it created a shorted on its board direct short to be exact, its not in the component problem now, its a trash board , but thansk fotr the help every one, Gob Bless .

my pc did not charge the battery ... and it turned on with charged battery, (with only the 19v cable it did not turn on) .. the fault was pq 201
