A1398 2015 820-00462 booting

Hey all
Hope all safe and sound .I have an Mbp a1398 does show Apple logo then boots and the restarts or shuts down .So I discovered that when I disconnect the trackpad cable then it boots and works fine . I have changed a good working trackpad and cable the problem
Still persists which means it is the motherboard I get all power rails right any inputs for this problem

You need a good charged battery for this machine to fully boot into macOS.

Yes all Mid 2014 and Mid 2015 A1398 Need good batteries to boot properly. Bad battery it will not post.

820-00426 (A1398 2015) no trackpad, no keyboard.

Hi! I have this 2015 A1398 with 820-00426 board that's driving me crazy. It originally came because of charging problems (MagSafe Board roasted, also MagSafe cable, etc. After disassembly, clean and assembly, my assistant (literally) broke FL803 and other componentes. Obviously, no screen or backlight. After replacing them, and also the LVDS connector, and LVDS flex on the screen, the board started fine, charges, chimes, shows Apple Logo, but surprise: no more trackpad or keyboard.

Important notes:
-Click works, so, trackpad is alive.
-Already tried with another trackpad,...

2015 A1398 15" MBP no backlight

Hi everyone, I have a 2015 A1398 with no backlight. The backlight circuit tests ok because I am getting around 53v on J8300 pin 1. I wanted to check the voltage on the screen side of the LVD cable, so I reconnected everything and the backlight works again. I am wondering if I got lucky or this is an intermittent issue.

KB and Trackpad only work in safe mode - 820-4924-A Macbook Pro Late 2015 A1502

Hi all. I hope someone has come across something similar, as I am baffled.

I have a faulty logic board from a 2015 A1502 Macbook Pro Retina (820-4924-A). Some signs of liquid, but all corrosion cleaned, and several components refloated or replaced to eliminate any visually corroded areas of the board.

Machine boots fine now, but the keyboard and trackpad do not work at all when booting normally into Catalina, Big Sur, or Monterey. At the login screen, the cursor does not move at all when moving on the trackpad, and no keys on the keyboard respond on screen, however...

Need clean bios for a1398 i believe 2015 here is original bios backup

hello so i have a a1398 9 beeps i think its bios.. took out chip and did backup here it is.. dont know what emc it is bc the back cover isnt original .. its a1398 2015 i believe and board number 820-00163-a attached is the orignal efi dump...
