    Openboardview shows other side components

    Dear all,

When I try to locate components, Openboardview shows other side's components making me very difficult to locate the components needed. The board I am trying is 820-2533. The file is attached herewith.

Click on View then Flip board. The board might need centring after that, I just scroll out with my mouse wheel until i see it then scroll back in.

Thank you but flipping or mirroring does not solving the problem. Just check the image given below

I have it looking correct on my screen. If I click mirror then flip it looks like your image.
Clicking mirror then flip gets it back to looking as it should

Sorry. Flip gives this (see attached).

I am using the mac version. Is that the issue.

Got it right with a combination of mirror, flip and rotate. Not sure which order followed

Sparkle 1200W PSU MAGNA Model: SPM1200AXJ8 - Broken. Need help identifying components. Any schematics available?
                  by Sam Scarbo
My Sparkle (SPI) PC power supply has broken. Originally, there was totally no power output. The 5V-standby was not there. I have replaced a few bulged capacitors but not helping.

I was trying to do more troubleshooting but burned more components. Some got burned so badly that the markings were gone. And also, the markings of a few transistors were gone because the component surface was worn out somehow.
If you happened to have disassembled the same PSU model, please help to provide the markings of some of these components.

See the attached two pictures of the small...

Easiest way to locate components from donor board?
                  by survivalbloke
I've got a LA-D993P with an exploded PL900(see attachments). I also want to replace the cap next to it, PC903. The schematics show the specs for the components which I'm sure I could find on mouser, alie-express, etc, but I was hoping to fix this board right now. I've got hundreds of laptop motherboards and I was wondering how you all go about finding replacement components from other(not same board) boards?...

Please help to identify the components on Surface Laptop GO3, model 2013, i5-1230U
                  by User2025
                  Hi,

I am working on a Surface Laptop GO 3, which is the new release 2024 with a i5-1230U processor. Originally, it had a 256GB SSD, then the owner attempted to upgrade it to 1TB SSD by himself. "Surprisingly", it did not boot afterwards, then changed back to the original SSD, did not boot either.

It turned out to be that just a couple of components had been knocked off when the owner was trying to get off the SSD cover with his beloved screw driver.

I do not have another board of same model. Although I have a Laptop Go 2, the layout of that bit...

HANNSG Hi221 -- 2 secs to black feat. CCFL flicker & "burn" marks on power board
                  by ttmi100x
                  Greetings everyone,

I have a HANNSG Hi221 monitor that exhibits two seconds to black issues (backlight goes off, display is still on as confirmed by shining a flashlight on it) with some additional oddities...

The monitor failed on me with a standard "2 seconds to black" some time ago prompting me to initially replace most of the electrolytic capacitors (some of them were bulging/leaking).
Things kinda sorta worked for a night, then the problem returned along with some flickering and "buzzing" noises.

                  Upon closer inspection...

Sony AV1010, basically works but heatsink is cold, resistors overheating
                  by foxer
                  Weird stuff.
I press power on this receiver, I hear the relay click, I can play music and get radio, everything apparently works but not really. The big heatsink stays cold to the touch, the small heatsinks to the two voltage regulators on the mainboard get super hot, and there are two overheated brown areas on the mainboard with an identical pattern (circled in red), centered on the components on each side of the big capacitors (removed in these pictures). Those last components, of course, also get burning hot.

So...I spent the week with my novice skill trying to locate...
