    A1534 (820-00045) 2017 12" Macbook SPI Pinout from J6100?

    Hello all,
    I am trying to flash the EFI rom from a 2017 A1534 12" Macbook (Logic board 820-00045).
    I have a basic TL866 programmer with the included Xgpro software.

    I am using the J6100 JTAG connector to get the SPI_ALT pins in the following format:

    Essentially,
    Programmer Pins:

    Code:
    (Left Column)                (Right Column)
    1  ->  SPI_ALT_CS_L          5  ->  PP3V3_G3H
    2  ->  SPI_ALT_MISO          6  ->  SPI_ALT_IO<3>
    3  ->  SPI_ALT_IO<2>          7  ->  SPI_ALT_CLK
    4  ->  GND                8  ->  SPI_ALT_MOSI
    However, my programmer cannot seem to detect the chip. I have tried with and without system powered on.
    Is there something I have to do with SPIROM_USE_MLB in order for the programmer to communicate with the EFI ROM chip?

    Thanks!

    I know nothing that would help however seeing PP3V3 BUS gets me really excited and thinking about Louis Rossmann! Come to think of it I don't even think Louis knows how to flash UEFI, he just replaces the whole SMC from a dead computer.

        Hello, sorry to bring this back, KappaDev , can you please tell us if you could resolve your issue to detect the chip?
