Hello. I have an Inspiron 7501 here, it's the same as a Vostro 7500 in some markets (no clue). I was looking to replace the LCD, the panels included with these models are terrible.
I have the schematic and it is a 4 lane eDP port on the board but the pinout seems quite weird, my question is if anyone recognises this weird pinout and knows of any other Dell models that may use it or even any compatible panel models. I have the 40-40pin cable that was used for the models with touch but do not need touch capability, was just looking for a better quality screen and higher refresh to actually make use of the 4 lanes it has on the port.
