Hi all, working on a MacBook Air 1466 820-3437-B. It had liquid spill on the BIOS chip U6100, U1950 & corrosion on 2-3 passive components. I cleaned the board & replaced U1950 as some pins were rusted. After replacing I got all voltages except the ALL_SYS_PWRGD voltage & got a fan spin but no display/image. Since the spill was near the BIOS chip I replaced that too & got all voltages & display was perfect, kept it on for a very long time. Upon re-assembly I turned unit on but ALL_SYS_PWRGD is missing again. I get all the voltage, 3.3, 5V & 1.5 volts but no CPUVR volts & no volts on L7310/L7320. Does anyone tell me what am I missing yet to be checked. Thank you

Re: MacBook Air 1466 820-3437-B missing ALL_SYS_PWRGD
If ALL_SYS_PWRGD is missing, usually it means another S0 rail is missing as well. (excluding CPU VCore which requires ALL_SYS_PWRGD to turn on)
Check the list of power rails again.OpenBoardView — https://github.com/OpenBoardView/OpenBoardView

MacBook AIR 1466
MB: 820-00165-A
I followed the power scheme https://logi.wiki/images/a/af/G3_-_S...ell.drawio.png. I have all voltages up to "PM_SLP_S5_L" = 0V. When I plug the charger it tries to power on, goes to 0,250A then goes to 0,023A and does nothing. No fan spin.
I'm confused, board looks good under microscope. No corrosion. -

by envymHi everyone!
I have a 2018 MacBook Pro (with Sequoia OS) that I've been using for years with no problem. I recently received an M2 MacBook Pro so I'm mostly using it and not the 2018 one, but since a friend of mine needs a computer, I thought I could restore my 2018 and give it brand-new-like to my friend.
I tried using the built-in tool to restore the MacBook (Settings > General > Transfer or restore > Delete) but it got stuck when trying to remove the Find Device configuration (it asked me for the password for my old Apple ID -now I use the same account but...06-27-2025, 08:54 AM -
by YosuaHELLO FELLOW COLLECTORS, How are you doing, I hope GOD always gives us good health, I'm here asking for help to work on this MacBook Air, to be honest, this is the first time I'm dealing with a MacBook machine, and I immediately decided that the ISL 6259 IC and after I replaced it it still didn't work and I found that the CHGR_CSO_N & CHGR_CSO_P pins had a short circuit.
can anyone help me guys? -
by salopianHello. I would need some advice please.
My son's MBP suddenly stopped working and is now only getting the green-then-orange light on Magsafe and no fan spin.
He brought the MBP into the house (22 deg C) from a very cold conservatory (-3 deg C) and turned it on straight away. The Mac suddenly died a few minutes later.
I examined the logic board and couldn't find any signs of water damage, corrosion, blown up components etc. Nothing was ever spilt on it, and the logic board looks immaculate.
I have already replaced the logic board with another... - Loading...
