compaq cq56-240st white screen after uma
Hello there
I'm new to the forum, I apologize in advance if a mistake.
I have a compaq cq56 240st
i want to make uma for this laptop
motherboard is da0ax2mb6e1 rev: e
I did what was described in this video (video is here)
motherboards are identical.
I removed the ones marked with "GO"
I moved the ones marked with "chuyen"
I did nothing to those marked with "them"
The resistance values look the same as the values in the video.
After completing all the operations the laptop only shows white screen.
can you help me find out where the problem is?

Re: i have cq56-240st. this can uma?
Your board DOES NOT have a dedicated GPU and is already running on integrated graphics. It can't be changed to uma because it already is! You'd have to revert all the changes you already made to the board. They were useless and most likely gave you more problems than you had before.
As piernov already said your Northbridge is most likely faulty since the integrated graphics is in it.
And no there is probably no way to repair the board without bga station.Last edited by KvnTM; 11-08-2019, 05:27 AM.
