    DELL 5558 Plugged in Charging but not increasing

    Hi All,
    Having Dell 5558, Motherboard LA-B843P Rev 1.0
    First, it was problem of bad charger message in bios screen, after changing DC jack, and replacing bad mosfet PU4405... message problem disappear, but stil no charging ... laptop work on both charger and batterie , but not increase level of charge

    If PU4405 was bad, there's a chance that PU4401 is bad as well.

          Check the center pin on the charging cable for signal.

            May not be the case, but i faced 2 instance of this mb battery percent not going up. I did whatever is needed but fault persisted. Ultimately swapping the battery helped. To make the matter more complicated as well as interesting, both the batteries worked well. I dont know why, but sometimes just swapping a similar working battery between 2 laptops makes both working. It cant be a coincidence as it happened 2 times.
