The ME,or Management Engine is a part of the bios that often gets corrupt. Your bios is split across 2 chips, sometimes the bios is just on 1. The clevo bios you downloaded has 2 bios files,1 is the 4MB bios the other is the full size 6MB bios. That 6MB bios has to be split into 2 seperate files using a hex editor to get the 2MB bios. Your bios backup has the new 4MB bios so just flash the attatched 2MB bios and verify its flashed ok. If it boots its fixed ,if not its back to testing .

I flashed your U18 NEW to U18 with no difference.

For U17 I opened N150SD.01 from the downloaded bios and flashed it to U17, is that correct? If not, could you send me the correct bin file for U17?

N150SD.01 is the right one for 17 .As you`ve flashed a good bios now to U17 and U18 you can rule out the bios being a problem, the other members will tell you what to test next .

After opening N150SD.01 in the program it would show this message, after clicking ok it showed up in the hex side looking the same as my dump, is that all good?

I opened N150SD.01 with my CH341A software and got the same message, closed the software opened again and the error message was gone. If you read the bios and compare it with the file N150SD.01 they should both be exactly the same, just to double check that verifying after programming worked. Use a hex editor to compare the 2 files or a hashing tool, such as hashcalc (ok on win 7) https://www.slavasoft.com/hashcalc/

Stated in the first post CPU Vcore is 1.69V, PL1 & PL2 coils, isn't 1.69V rather high for Vcore?

1.7V on VCore is perfectly fine for Haswell.

I'm not sure where we are at.
                            Does it have PLTRST#?
Was a known good BIOS tried?
Does it have activity on BIOS CS# pin?
                            Does it seem to POST?

Here is a video of what it does: https://youtu.be/BGkaSCkJktk
Power LED goes from orange to white
CPU on the left, no fan spin
GPU on the right, short fan spin (heatsink currently off, stays cold)
Stays on for roughly 15 seconds before turning off, orange light.
There is no video out on display.

You mean the input or similar? Because the last Intel processor rated at 1.7V Vcore, was a Pentium III, LOL.

Looks like the processor will get damaged.

You are using a known good DDR3L RAM stick right?

If it still has VCore but is not POSTing, you can probe BIOS CS# pin with the oscilloscope and LPC bus too (on LFRAME#) to see if there's any activity but it won't help much anyway. It can be almost anything, EC, PCH, CPU, maybe GPU, random stuff going on somewhere…

I'd try another known good BIOS.

hello friends, I have a DELL LATITUDE 5420---MODEL P137G, ST 20TFKN3 LA-K491P REV:2.0 (A01) and its quite a challenge. It powers on with the battery disconnected, lasts on for about 15 secs, and then shuts off. It does the same with battery only (no adapter). With battery and adapter it sometimes starts after hitting the button several times. It displays nothing in every case. Since only the Boardview is available, I guided myself with schematics similar to this laptop (I'll add them down). Some measurements:

1- After receiving power SIO_SLP_S0# goes high and never changes.

Hey guys has anyone come across this fault?

MSI RTX 3080 Ventus 16GB OC

The GPU powers up, all voltages look OK, Vcore 0.76V, Vmem 1.38V, PEX 0.95V

Then after about 10 secs or so all voltages power back down again apart from 5V and 1.8V.

It does not seem to be temperature related - if I power off and on immediately, it just does the same thing again

I have a power sequence chart that says another voltage powers up after 1.8V and before PEX . It could be MSVDD but I am not totally sure

                                            Does anyone have a schematic...

                                            Epson EB-U42 projector / Caps with 0.7 ohms ?!

                                            hi all,

first of all: i'm a (motivated) newbie, so please forgive me any stupid question i may or may not ask

i'm currently repairing a projector: Epson EB-U42 that doesn't start (no lights, nothing).

                                            what i've found so far:
                                            - the PSU does its job and supplies 12V to the mainboard via the connector.
                                            - shortly thereafter, there is a mosfet (TS420-600B) where i can test 12V on the one side (in the data sheet this side is called Anode), Gate 0V, Kathode shorted to ground
                                            - not far away, there's the first cap with a resistance of 0.7 ohms....

Hi! I encountered a Clevo brand laptop that needed its boot LOGO modified. I found the LOGO address, but after the modification, the machine stopped displaying it. I'm puzzled. It worked normally before the 11th generation of CPUs, but it stopped working from the 12th generation onwards! The LOGO addresses are:

I have provided the BIOS and LOGO files that require LOGO modification, and I hope someone can help me.
