    How to trick Lenovo to work with aftermarket charger

    Hello.
    Last time we trick HP, but now i need to trick Lenovo. I like to see its wattage on my psu so i know what is wrong on power

      As far as i know, Lenovo laptops don't have power supply identification function. If i am mistaken, please correct me. I use regular DC power supply to power up even newer models and i can successfully power up them. I wonder what prevent you from doing that ?.

          i mean that longeron type of charger.
          as u see it have blue middle pin connection

                  its in connector? so i can just cut my adapter and attach it to my PSU

                  i must measure what resistance is for 65W adapter

                          it must be set right to 20V. with 19,5V it wont work

                              Hello, I received this laptop with the following condition: When I turn it on, it shows the ALIENWARE light and the Alien button lights up, then it does not show an image and it restarts constantly, as the customer had already informed me that the battery was dead, I connected an original charger that I had it for testing, the machine turned on normally and I was able to enter Windows without problems, after a while of testing I noticed that it is very slow (like a Cyrix 425...), and after performing a CPU test the frequency is

                              hello everyone, I have a particular problem with this lenovo ideapad 330s-15ikb. I had to replace the motherboard due to liquid damage, after replacing it I noticed that some letters on the keyboard do not work. So I bought a new keyboard and now all the keys work except the numeric keypad area. In practice the num lock key LED always remains on and the numbers do not work. Has anything like this ever happened to you? I also tried changing the keyboard again but the same defect remains on the numeric keypad.

                              The charging indicator light on my ASUS X54H laptop is always on even when the charger is disconnected.

                              Windows also shows ''Plugged in'' when charger is not connected.

                              This problem started year ago gradually, when unplugging the charger the charging light took several seconds to disappear, then minutes, and now almost always on even when unplugged for an entire day.
                              Strangely, before sometimes immediately when plugging in the charger the charging light went away, and later came back with it connected.
                              If I let battery run out and say it has 3% Windows will...

                              Hello,
                              I'm working on a Lenovo T460 that has been having trouble charging as of late. Its worked well since I've owned it for a few years. When I went to use it the other day it was dead and wouldn't turn on (was sitting on an Anker 65W GaN charger). After some fiddling with the charger I got it to turn on and start charging, but seemed like the charger was not working as it should (took a few plug and unplug cycles to get it to start charging).

                              A day later it was dead again and wouldn't boot/charge no matter what I did. No lights or anything when...
