    USB 3.0 Mobo socket replacement

Need to replace USB 3.0 sockets on a Motherboard.
Unfortunately the most common 9 pin DIP reverse type layout for Motherboards, on small quantities and cheap price, doesn't seem to be available on eBay or Aliexpress...! (Commonly referred as "reverse type", see images attached)
Can someone point to me a good cheap seller. Thanks.

At least those have the correct pins layout
      (If they fit... I'll see)

TBK R-2201 for CPU socket replacement
        by elisest
I have some intel socket motherboards that require new sockets and I'm contemplating purchasing a TBK R-2201 to carry out the works. but I can find hardly any information about it especially reviews for the unit.

Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this machine, it looks suitable for socket replacement but is it?? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

this is the website for it :

        CPU socket replacement soldering profile
        by Geomih
Hi All - I am hoping someone can help with some pointers (complete noob here!)

I have recently purchased a Scotle HR460 BGA reball machine (it's a bit old and I think the company no longer exists either), but as far as I can tell it is a competent and unmolested machine that should be good enough for my needs.
My biggest problem is that it came with no profiles, and I must re-create all of them from scratch, something that is very scary for someone that doesn't really know what they are doing.
The simple stuff like a small memory module isn't a big deal because there are

Dell G3 17 3779 - no display after mobo replacement
        by mrsith
        Hi guys,

I have a friend's Dell 3779 that came to me with severely shorted mobo. Did not manage to isolate the cause, most likely that was a bga shorted. Went for a replacement motherboard. Got one from China, apparently it's been tested prior to shipping. The mobo starts up normally but I am getting no display whatsoever.

Tried using external monitor, but being blind I am not sure if laptops goes as far as booting to Windows, a d without it I cannot get hdmi to work. Can't see boot menu options to make sure it boots to Windows. Went ahead and did a blind bios update,...

PCIe x16 socket replacement / desolder / rework
        by dicky96
I sometimes see expensive motherboards sold spares/repair with damaged or burnt PCIe x16 sockets

So I started to wonder, it is possible to de-solder the faulty socket and fit a replacement? At least for the non-armoured type

To this end I thought I would try to desolder a PCIe 16x socket from a scrap board - without damaging the board. The thought was, if I can remove the old socket and clean out the through holes, then fitting a new one should not be a problem

From googling - According to people responding to questions asking about doing this on computer/tech...
