    HP laptop board DA0R62MB6E0 REV. E

    I have this mainboard DA0R62MB6E0 REV. E from hp laptop, no power up no light.
    I messure on PU5 this voltages

    pin ---> voltage

    1,2,3 -> 18.6V
    4 -> 24.5V
    5 -> 2.9V
    6 -> 2.6V
    7 -> 0V
    8,9,10 -> 5.1V
    11,12 -> 1.2V
    13--> 12V
    14, 15 --> 0V
    16 ---> 6V
    17 ---> 5.9V
    18,19 ---> 1.2V
    20 ----> 18.7V

    also on all pins on power button except ground i get 5V, it's normal this?
    It's worth continue troubleshooting or not?

    Thanks

              On HP laptops, AC adapter must be recognized before the laptop turns on, so you need to get a light on the DC-in jack.

              As your 3.3V rail was up to 5V, it may have killed the EC. Probably a good idea to replace it. You can also try to flash EC ROM.

              You can also check voltage on AD_ID and AD_TYPE, it's the voltage level that tells the EC what AC adapter is plugged in.

                if you jumper the AD_ID to the +3vpcu will it get damage?

                What if your not having a EC_PWROK and RSMRST#?
                will it be a bios issue ? or a ENE CHIP issue?

                ACIN is 3v
                EC_PWROK no voltage
