need help identifying a resistor value

Can anyone please help me identify the value of the resistor R391.
motherboard is SATELLITE L50-B-25C DA0BLIMB6F0 REV F 5th generation.it would be nice to
upload a schematics if it is possible.

I think R391 is 0ohm according to piernov at this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=63803

it is different motherboard,I could not find the right schematics.actual value is 200 ohms,If i cannot find anything i would try with 0 ohm.

Sorry. Is the resistor and cap connected to PQ10, if it is whats the PQ10 marking on top.

is it same N-channel MOS like AO6402? confirm with use multimeter, pin 1256 as drain.

Also confirm does R391 connect with gate?

Re: need help identifying a resistor value

There is a big chance is AO6402 as Load switch / Discharge for S5D or MAIND, so if resistor connect to gate, possibly only come from diode charge pump on block regulator 3V/5V RT6575A=3G, the value should be 1MOhm for other rails maybe 100k. confirm! does one leg connect to PD2 or PD3?.

Usually for gate mosfet switching resistor must be pull down with high value approx 10KOhm-1MOhm, for reduce ampere, cause its only signal (volt have no ampere, in my logic mind).

A little confuse, the shape seem as coil ferrite like caps but more dark.

Thanks for reply everybody.i found other problems in the motherboard related to ram section i will put away and wait for a schematics.

Assistance with identifying resistor value on 820-02918 A2992 board?
                  by ugamazing
Working on a 2023 M3 A2992 unit with 820-02918 board, and it uses a new USB-C power architecture, with rectangular controllers. I do not have a perfect-matching board, so have been repairing this one the old-fashioned way (slowly).

I managed to blow-away a single resistor that I can't find and can't determine the value of. It connects to ground, so I went ahead and stuffed it with a 100K resistor in case it's a simple pull-up. But, I'm now having issues with that side of the board, and am curious if it's possibly related to this resistor! I have no schematics and no board view, so...

Need help identifying resistor on Asus FA507RC DA0NJNMBAD0 schematic
                  by dutchgaucho
                  Hi colleagues,

Looking for a schematic DA0NJNMBAD0 or the MP2845A 6-phase PWM controller.

Working here on a DA0NJNMBAD0 rev D motherboard (Asus FA507RC) with liquid damage. Board has some tiny corrosion around the MP2845A controller and one resistor is missing. I need to know the value of the resistor, but no schematics are available. Not even for the MP chip or anything similar (this is a 6 phase PWM controller).

On one side of the pad 20V is present. The other side connects to a cap and to pin 16 of the MP2845A. Resistor seems too small for VCC...

                  Help identifying resistor?
                  by mrkmpn
This resistor is on a small board the fan connects to in a Brother MFC L5900DW. The fan does not work, and when testing this resistor it shows no reading all the way from 4M ohms, down the a continuity test, so appears to have failed open.

I've tried using a coupld of resistor calculators online, but I'm not sure which end is which on the resistor, and going both directions on the calculators I run into a value that doesn't have the correct color as an option.

I, believe the colors are black gold violet black orange, but maybe I'm mistaken on one of th...

Dell 2209WA - power supply - Fusible Resistor replacement
                  by jinu_j
                  Hi

I am trying to repair an ancient Dell 2209WA Monitor which suddenly shut off with a pop sound. On investigation found that one of the fusible resistors had blown. Further investigation identified multiple components as faulty because of which the fusible resistor blew. Please refer the attached circuit diagram showing the components that were found to be damaged.

                  1. FR950 - blown fusible resistor - 0.2 Ohm 1W
                  2. Q950 - shorted Q950 MOSFET - 650V 10A N Channel Mosfet
                  3. R835 - Blown Resistor - 20KOhm SMD resistor
                  4. D930 - Shorted Schottkey Diode...

Need help to replace burned resistor in 350w atx psu
                  by mikey5791
                  Hi to all forum members,

Got this faulty 350 watt atx psu dirt cheap from a local online seller as i am keen to use it as a learning tool to repair faulty power supply.
The faulty part is quite obvious from the burn area near the 16pin KA7500 BD pwm. The fuse is still intact with good continuity.

Upon power on ac, there is 5vdc standby power on cathode of diode D14 and about 10vdc on cathode of diode D13.(This should be the aux power to generate the 12v and 5v rail.)
Initially i replace the two burned resistors near my marked red arrow to 200 ohm resistor...
