HP G42 458TU Battery Drain

My hp g42 458tu laptop is always in powered condition( i mean its shutting own ,but dvd drive harddisk etc are working) . If I kept battery in laptop full charged it will be drained with in 1 day and its a new battery.

At first I thought it would be related to windows 10 ,so I checked removing harddisk and same thing happened.

So I checked by removing battery ,harddisk and plugged adapter and pressed DVD drive and it's working without pressing power button, and display color is changing to dark and white(like flikering without back light)

I am ready to repair this myself (I mean chip level)

I have all the accessories and tools for repair and I disassembled laptop but no components seem to be visibly damaged.

i Dont know where to start.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do you still have the old battery.Check to see if its part of the battery recall

So when you plug the AC adapter in, the laptop turns on automatically and the screen has display. and the laptop cannot shut down completely. it that right?
