My hp g42 458tu laptop is always in powered condition( i mean its shutting own ,but dvd drive harddisk etc are working) . If I kept battery in laptop full charged it will be drained with in 1 day and its a new battery.

At first I thought it would be related to windows 10 ,so I checked removing harddisk and same thing happened.

So I checked by removing battery ,harddisk and plugged adapter and pressed DVD drive and it's working without pressing power button, and display color is changing to dark and white(like flikering without back light)

I am ready...

hi friends i think all my electronics repair problems will be solved here and i reached here searching that nasty bad caps in my pc motherboard

Before stating the problem, I know the danger related to CRT and it's better to replace old CRT monitor with newest Led LCD.
And I have little knowledge in troubleshooting CRT displays.

But I just want to repair this.

This CRT Monitor is not used for almost 2 year and started using 2 weeks before and it's working fine till yesterday.
Now the problem is at first power on with VGA cable not connected it's normal that is signal not found or cable not connected image is moving all over the screen.
And if VGA cable is connected to PC the image is showing...
