Nice @DeniS182. When you say black screen, not just the back-light that's gone? I mean you tried it on ext display as well I assume?

      Sure the RAM is okay?
      LVDS connector and power okay?

I looked better and my LCD is going on and off -without backlight, I mean only black picture is here, because I can't see Lenovo logo. LVDS connector looks fine I measured something:
        PIN 1 - +LEDVDD = 19.8V
        PIN 16 - INVT_PWM = 0V no pwm here
        PIN 20 - +3VS = 0V
        PIN 21 - +LCDVDD_CON = 0V
        PIN 23 - +3VS = 3.3V
        PIN 30 - +3VS_CMOS =3.3V
        Measured without LVDS cable connected.
        Nothing on hdmi output.

Is it even booting? At least POSTing?

Hmm Interesting... I had something like this not too long ago... Can't remember the make or model.... anyways...

I found a little control circuit on that board that waited for a signal from the PCH to enable or start LED. I never got it to send the signal from the PCH (or EC...) ?? Not sure I'll go check if I can find anything similar in your schematic.
And nothing on HDMI you say? Uhm sounds suspect as well towards the PCH... What about VGA? Also all this assuming the rest of the things work fine (the previous issues)

            EDIT: Look at Sheet 33.
            signals: PCH_ENVDD | PCH_EDP_PWM | PCH_ENBKL

Check if you get those. Though It could be that you get the signals for a second.. as you said: "my LCD is going on and off" and it goes off again because something else is then causing a halt...

            Sheet 4: LCD_BKLT_CTRL_R todo with INVT_PWM

Summary of BIOS Whitelist Removal Problem

                Problem:
I am attempting to remove the WWAN card whitelist from my Lenovo ThinkPad T560.
                Initial Findings:
                • My current BIOS version is N1KET58W (1.45).
                • I have a CH341A programmer and have successfully created two full backups of my BIOS.
                • I have the ability to use command-line tools on a Linux machine.
                Troubleshooting Steps & Conclusions:
                • I attempted to use several automated and manual patching methods on my N1KET58W (1.45) BIOS, including using hex strings. These attempts all failed.
                • I concluded that the

                by coasterghost
For Badcaps Readers, Please note that I am hopefully going to present this same message to Lenovo to see if they have any insight to the matter as well and figured to share the entirety here for clarification. The System is out of warranty as it is but does have the option to have it extended.

                Lenovo E15 Gen 2 GE4B0 GE5B0 NM-D011 Rev 1.0 sometimes not opening problem
                by s_specialist
Recently, I have started to encounter a problem with Lenovo E15 Gen 2 models not opening. When you try to open the device, it gives a warning sound and does not display an image, when you apply light pressure on the keyboard, the image appears and works for a while, when you turn it off and on, the same thing happens again. Bios was tried, RAM slots were cleaned and soldered to the legs, the problem still persists. There seems to be a problem with the onboard processors, but since Lenovos glue the processor firmly from the sides, the paths are very damaged when removing it. Has anyone encountered...

                Lenovo T580 - LCD Panel problem - error 0288
                by perzyk23
                Good morning,
I have a problem with Lenovo T580, which after error code 0288 suggests a problem with the display. I checked the display and it works on another laptop. I replaced the display cable with a new one. I programmed another BIOS (downloaded from this forum) and I still have the problem of a dead display - there is an image via HDMI, and the system does not detect the built-in LCD at all. The problem appears to be hardware. What can I check to confirm or disprove this? I found many threads on the Internet related to this problem 0288, but without specific solutions. Please advise....

The laptop was working fine, the only problem was that when I turned it on, the screen was hard to turn on, it would wait for about 30-40 seconds before an image appeared on the screen.
Initially, I updated from windows to Intel Management Engine 11.8 Firmware, restarted, everything was fine.
Then I updated the bios, also from windows, to the last vs, vs 46. It restarted, those lines with bios update progress appeared, restarted and that's it, since then...
