    Macbook Pro 17 2011 problem.

Hello friends and happy new year,
I have a problem with a Macbook Pro 17" 2011, as you can see the photo.
The problem it's not GPU or vga RAM, I change the chipset and VRAM but same isswe.
Has anyone found the same problem... and fixed it?
    Thank you in advance.

I pretty sure this is a GPU problem and the "new" GPU is an old dead one that was rebadged and reballed.

Of Course there is no screen problem ... I was check it with external too.

I have two suppliers where I buy chipsets, so I try 4 different chip new +2016. Same problem.

There is no oxidized, I guess the problem is with rails or something else but I cant find it...

power pc with script to enable intel vga only and check if it's the same problem. if yes we'll focus on pch lvds line, otherwise ati lines.

I check it and it's ati lines. Now what I must to do? To check any line and all parts one by one?
                NOT EASY ...

I agree with you, but which caps are the problem?
I try with the 100nF, but same issue.
Have you ever solved that issue?

MacBook Air A2337 (820-02016) USB-C Port Issue โ€“ Only Works in One Orientation (CC Line Problem?)
                        by rounin
                        Hi everyone,

I'm working on a MacBook Air 2020 (A2337, board 820-02016) and running into a strange USB-C issue. I've gone through quite a bit of testing and part replacement, but I'm stuck โ€” hoping someone here can shed some light.

                        ๐Ÿ›  Original Issue
                        The machine initially wouldn't negotiate 20V over USB-C โ€” stuck at 5V.
Diagnosis showed PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE shorted to ground.

I replaced U3100 (UF400) using a donor board (A2179), and the machine powers on fine now.

โš ๏ธ New Problem: One USB-C Port Only Works in One Orientation...

Macbook Air A1466 820-3437-B Booting Problem
                        by psdavid65
I received a 2013 Macbook Air A1466 820-3437-B motherboard with serial number C02L6GQ9FSV8 that came in WITHOUT a bios chip. I got a new bios chip and reprogrammed it. Macbook now powers on but doesn't boot the SSD. I've flashed a ton of bios but still same problem. Windows installation works with this Macbook but never a mac installation. Unfortunately, since I didn't receive this macbook with a bios chip, I don't have the original bios. What can I do now?...

Apple Macbook Air M1 A2337 Trackpad problem
                        by Skrndelj
                        Hello all,

                        I am repairing a Macbook A2337 and i have a problem
The Macbook is stuck in restore as someone before me tried a DFU restore and bricked the device, now i can't do a restore as AC2 throws error 1 which is related to the trackpad.
When i turn on the device i get the trackpad click for a few moments and then nothing, i tried 7 trackpads and 7 trackpad flats, i know all 7 are functioning okay, especially one as i use it for testing and DFU restore.
I inspected the whole board and everything seems fine.
Can anyone help me as i didn't fiddle with trackpad...

                        Macbook Air 2020 A2179 820-01958 battery problem?
                        by sdogs
                        Hi everyone,
I have a MacBook Air A2179 in my hands that had power problems (5V to the USB-C port intermittently).
After a first inspection I could see that the D3302 protection IC was burnt out, so I replaced it but the problem was not solved, it seems like intermittent 5v input.
I then replaced the two u3200s (CD3217B12ACE) and now I have stable 20 volts and the macbook has turned back on.
Unfortunately I have a further problem, it works very slowly and the fan runs at maximum and if I disconnect the charger it turns off, it's as if the battery was disconnected.
                        ...

Macbook M1 A2337 EMC 3598 weird battery charging problem
                        by brockauly
                        Hi guys,

If I unplugged the battery and the charger, then plug the battery then the charger, it charges without problem.
Then if I unplug the charger and plug it back, it won't charge anymore.
In the first case, main voltage is regulated at ~12.5V and charges the battery.
After unplugging the charger, main voltage drops to battery voltage at ~11.5V.
After replugging the charger, main voltage stays at ~11.5V and won't go up to ~12.5V again.

I found C520A (2.2ยต after current sensor from USB-C source) completely burnt and removed it properly. I cleaned...
