HP CQ71;No LEDS except connector LED 6 sec.

    Hallo,
    I m checking a MOBO DA00P6MB6D0 rev D.
With or without battery I see a Led coming ON at the ext. power connector when connecting it. After 6 seconds it goes OFF. No other LEDS ON; Pow butt does nothing.
    At the ext.DC IN connector:
pin 3 =1,5V=also present when LED OFF
    Pin 4: 2,65V when LED ON ; otherwise 0V
    Can someone help me? Thanks

      Try bios first.

The S5_ON Doesnt come ON after pressing POW BUTTON. KBC death? How can I test?

          Not shorted; I have 19V at PQ48.

Give bios pin 8 and pin 5 voltages ???????????

Normally you should have 3.3v at pin 8 and 0.2 at pin 5

Forgot to mention that the LED at the female external-PS-connector remains OFF. Havent found the label for that LED.
I have charged the MBAT to 10.5V.
              Is correct 3.3V at 8; only 0,033 at pin 5. CMOS BATT+ is 2.96V
The power button goes to 0V on pressing.
The RSMRST# remains at 0V also on pressing.
DNBSWON#1 measured on D18: is 3,35 and remains when pow.butt pressed (with DMM and Bitscope)
LID_EC# is 3,3V so I guess this is an OPEN LID .
I have 3.3V at KBC on PIN 67. KBC is not hot.
I consume 10,48 mA; when I press power button: 10,55mA.

You can make measurements until the end of time, try to reprogram bios at first. If no change then start to measure again.

The problem is I have no programmer. On the other hand I have a scope. Do you have an idea on why PIN 5 of BIOS is so low ?

It is data line, so if no data or data is infrequent then multimeter shows mean value which is very low. If you have a scope then look if impulses are present on pin 2, 5, 6. But it still gives you nothing if you have no idea what data should be moving. Find a spi programmer if you want to move forward with repairing it.

OK. In the mean time can we look at the charger not functioning? charge led is OFF. BAT V remains 10.3V
                      PU5 has 5V on PIN 1;
                      ACSET (on the PR99): 2,09V
                      6251EN: (on the PR98): 1,15V
UGATE (on the PQ6 pin 4): 10V; no pulses; L gate 0V but no pulses (pin 4 on PQ4)
                      VREF PIN 8: 2,77V
Should receive CC-SET from KBC: I measure (on PR102): OV (I think it should be 1.2V)
Probably same cause: KBC not functioning?

Hi, what voltage do you have on pin 2 of PQ7 and pin 2 of PQ67?

                            Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

Help identifying connector for ASUS 4090 Strix RGB LED connector
                            by 5mall5nail5
                            Hi All -

I had replaced my ASUS 4090 Strix cooler with a waterblock and put the stock cooler on the shelf. Was moving it and snagged my sweater on the connector and pulled the wires out of the pins on the RGB connector. I tried to get them back on but its too small so I opened the stamped pins and tried to solder but its not a good repair and the wire broke on reinstallation.

Looking to replace the connector on the cable side and get pins to crimp onto a new cable. Bought random JST and such but nothing is correct. Can anyone help identify the connector and possibly matching...

                            Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...

                            Hi guys,
i have a damaged keyboard connector on my older Toshiba Satellite M50-A laptop. I know there is LA-A481P motherboard. In attachment pictures there is a real looking connector and i also found a schematic to the connector. But i need help with finding a real electronic part to replace the damaged connector. e.g. on aliexpress (or different page).
It is 34pin connector and the length from pin n.1 to pin n.34 is 26mm. So it means a pitch length is 0.764 mm. I have seen connectors with 0.5mm , 0.7mm , 0.8mm and 1mm pitch length. But not with 0.75. Is it some special custom connector...

I've got a dehumidifier that has stopped working. Plug it in, press the power switch, and it beeps 5 times. Nothing showing in the display (which is just two 7 segment displays) apart from the two decimal points flashing. The model is a MeacoDry Arete One 18L, which seems to be a rebadged Deye (all the boards are marked Deye). Here's what I've got so far (details in case anyone else in future should need them).

Starting with the power board. Mains power comes in at the red connector top left. The compressor is powered by the orange connector to the right of that and is switched by...
