    G62 PM_A_HPC_S MV_MB_V1 on & off

    I have a G62 PM_A_HPC_S MV_MB_V1 that powers on and off soon after.
    I found out that EC_PWRBTN# was falling from 3,3V to 0 by itself and not when I was pressing the power button [also not always going to 0 when I pressed power button] - compared with a know good board it should be always 3,3V and always 0 when power button is pressed.
    I started with bios reflash and replacing kbc - now all it does is a infinitive looping of on and off [by itself]
    Any guess?

                  RS880+ATI GPU worst combination

                  try to reflow. first NB than GPU, but first check for short

                          Hello.
                          I received a bios locked 7410 with 25Q256JVEQ ,i dump the bios, unlocked it and flash it back, since then the laptop has no life signs at all except amber led on for as long the power button is pressed, nothing else.
                          Fact #1 i was unaware that 25Q256JVEQ is 3.3v and i used a 5v CH341A to program it, not sure if the chip got damaged but since then i can read it and write it normally, doesn't seem dead.
                          Fact #2 i modded the CH341A to 3.3v, same results with programming though, nothing changed.
                          Fact #3 i tried hard reset with cmos/main battery disconnected and power...

                          I have this Dell Latitude 5420 with ST: CMF62F3, board GDF40 LA-K491P REV 3.0 that does not power on, i already searched for some clues about this problem that happens on mine but no BIOS i downloaded and flashed did anything.
                          Only when the power brick is connected, when pressing the power button an amber light lights up at the front and slight decreases its brightness, the RAM and the CPU seem to heat up if the laptop is left connected but nothing else, other than USB devices getting powered.
                          Here is the original BIOS dump from the 25R256JVEN chip.

                          Hey all,

                          Just got a no name motherboard for a repair belonging to a Turkish laptop manufacturer called Casper.

                          Well as you might guess no schematics available at all.
                          Motherboard is: MT55INP1.V.01

                          So the 19v comes in ok, 3v and 5v standby is ok, power button has 5v. I draws 0.004 amps from the bench psu, when I press the power button it jumps to 0.040, led comes on then in a blink of an eye it just shuts down 0 amps, no fan spin, nothing.                           Hi.

                          picked up another TV. This time is a Vizio M65-C1. TV does not turn on. I had repaired another 60 inch vizio , Bad main board.
                          When power button is pressed, the Power led indicator on the bottom right, turns for a few seconds and then it fades away. No backlight or Vizio logo on screen. Removed back cover and repeated test.
