i have seen the problem with dell inspiron 1545 plug in not charging; try with 2 battery no succes,try another dc adaptor, update bios no result, change dc jack problem was solved.Comment

my computer is w812DI1 pointer someone know about this computer some wiring diagram?
please tell me polytek did you test with multimeter your dc jack? or it s was disconect from the motherboard?

its simple!
you do this on daily basis? you buy the battery.
if the the battery its ok then you got another battery to sell it.
if not, you got 2 battery to use
to check the battery you need diagram from battery to force the battery to charge to enable some pins inside, then some kaka resistor bleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaa.
just buy a battery!
i`ll make you special pictures sunday if i don`t forget with a DV6 batteries MSG :not detected, plug in not charging, charging(in fact NOT charging) and ofc working.

Hey All!
Long time forum member here with a problematic laptop issue!
I got a RZ09-0196 with a bloated battery (still worked and charged fine) I pulled the old cell pack out and installed a new cell pack in its place.
The laptop would not power on with the new battery installed without the power supply being plugged in.
When booting into Win10 (all up to date BTW) I saw the battery icon with 49% plugged in not charging.
TL;Dr version, old battery worked, charged but was bloated, installed a new non OEM replacement, laptop/windows... -

Looking for some help with this one if anybody can assist please? I have an HP Probook 470 G4 Laptop which recently started to intermittently failing to turn on, with intermittent white LED light(charging LED) by the charging port when it should have been charging and showing an orange LED instead. Definitely some sort of gradual failure. Now the laptop fails to power on at all, no charging LED, no Power Button LED either - seemingly dead.
Stripped down to the bare motherboard. The original HP battery, when disconnected from the motherboard, is reading 0.00v - possibly some sort of protection... -
