Has anyone test it a chip with blister to reball, and put it back on the board??

                How did it get blistered?

If it was popcorned due to reflow/reball attempt you can safely say its dead

No, don't see it but if that is conductive silver paste then clean it off around those tiny SMD parts.

Measure across the SMD capacitors on the top of the chip. If any of those read <2 ohms (short) then the chip is dead. This is only valid with dedicated GPUs btw, things like northbridges sometimes have unused sections shorted out on the board, but if you measure the chip after you lift it from the board, it is no longer shorted.

I have had several blistered chips that still worked. But most of them do not.

I have not seen thermal paste which is conductive electrically. The surroundings looks like the chip has been reflowed, so probably it has died once again...

                              Is a G92-700-A2 changeable (aquivalent) with a G92-150-A2 or G92-720-A2?

Both should work. I haven't done many G92 swaps myself but i've done plenty of G86. Even upgrading the G86-703-A2 (8400M G, 8 SP) to G86-731-A2 (8400M GS, 16 SP), or replacing G86-630-A2 with the older G86-620-A2 because that's what i had on hand. All of them worked. Also in the case of the 8400M G -> 8400M GS upgrade, the driver actually picked up the extra shaders and made the laptop faster.

You need to replace the GPU. If i'm not mistaken, that series of Imacs is known for running very hot.

                                      Hi,

Normally I'm not one for buying chips off eBay. But having order 10+ G86-631-A2 with a date code of 2013+ from them, they are the genuine date chip. I've never had a duff one yet.
                                      Delivery was about 1-2weeks
