    Ic behaviours/properties

I was hoping we can make some few notes on how each pinout of ics behave, incase they are not functioning well or in good shape.
For example TPS51125, pin 23 is PGOOD, how much voltage should be read there if its working alright on how much voltage should be there if it is faulty.
    Let's share our ideas

    It depends .
If you got a short on vreg5 and pin pgood 23 does go there , it will be 0 even if the chip is good.
Now isolating the vreg 3 and 5 its the problem because many pins go there .
Just cook it! It's already broken.

Or maybe pgood its the feedback from vreg. Off

I have problem with some toshiba mahine using tps51125, I read 3.3v, 5v from all the places but the laptop only works on battery, it can't recognize the charger and it won't charge. I realize that pgood reads 4.6v on the tps51125

well then TPS is ok . your problem is on DC detect circuit . chek carefully if you got LDO on the charger IC , specially near the charger IC you will have a big ceramic capacitor , were you must have this 5 volts present . but this is something on dc detect circuit and not main regulator line

                1050ti asus cerberous: 1.8v present, 1.8v pgood missing ..
                by saronno
I have this weird case where 1.8v is presente but 1.8v pgood is missing preventing the card to post.

The card sometimes post, in particular when mb and gpu are cold e without voltage for long time. If it post, then no problem, it loads the drivers and everything works fine.

the chip who provide 1.8v is an nb671lb.

have you ever had an issue like that on a 1050ti or any other pascal gpu?

                TIA

                3060 no PGOOD being sent
                by Pugzsz
Hey, I'm a beginner when it comes to this but I promise I do my research before asking a question like this.
I have a 3060 that has no pex voltage, vcore or mem. I have checked for shorts and have come up with nothing. What I have found is the GS9216TQ-R is not sending out a PGOOD signal but it is being enabled. Where would you suggest looking next. I have a schematic for a 3060 and access to basic electronic tools. Multimeter, Espotek Labrador Oscilliscope, reflow station, soldering iron, lab power supply.

Sapphire RX 5700 Pulse Missing 1.8V
                by Zsombi114
Hi guys! I have a faulty RX 5700 Pulse which has no 1.8V. I want to repair it, because the gpu is 100% functional. Interestingly, I had the same problem a few months ago with this card. I worked a lot diagnosing and "repairing" the card (I replaced 2 caps and 2 resistors at the 1.8v line, but nothing changed). After a few weeks, I was measuring the voltages when I noticed that the gpu is hot. I plugged the card into my pc, and it worked fine. I wasnt able to believe its working. I used the card for 3 weeks and I decided to sell it. Unfortunetaly, when the buyer bought the card, the card...
