This machine won't recognize the battery, I have tried with new batteries, changed the magsafe still no help. I was browsing some forums and a guy mentioned something about battery sensor on the mother board. sometimes the battery will come for a short time and disappear within a few minutes. I am thinking its on the Mobo because when it happens its like the Mobo doesn't see any battery connected at all. Hope someone can help.

I have been able to solve the problem, the battery status indicator connected to the board was faulty, everything is working fine after I replaced it with a new one.

Hi, my dear friends., Maybe this might be a stupid question or something I missed or do not know. I have 2 MacBook Air A2681 (Indentical color & EMC #), both LCD screens broken. Before ordering the LCD Screens I confirmed both worked with their respective batteries & AC Adapters, & they did 100%. The LCD Screens came in today & I replaced LCD for the 1st A2681. (Removed Battery Terminal cable for both Laptops before installation of LCDs). Perfect Screen & Booted up fine. But it did not work with battery. I checked the battery connector & it was seated in well/perfectly.... -

If I unplugged the battery and the charger, then plug the battery then the charger, it charges without problem.
Then if I unplug the charger and plug it back, it won't charge anymore.
In the first case, main voltage is regulated at ~12.5V and charges the battery.
After unplugging the charger, main voltage drops to battery voltage at ~11.5V.
After replugging the charger, main voltage stays at ~11.5V and won't go up to ~12.5V again.
I found C520A (2.2ยต after current sensor from USB-C source) completely burnt and removed it properly. I cleaned... -
Hi everyone,
I have a MacBook Air A2179 in my hands that had power problems (5V to the USB-C port intermittently).
After a first inspection I could see that the D3302 protection IC was burnt out, so I replaced it but the problem was not solved, it seems like intermittent 5v input.
I then replaced the two u3200s (CD3217B12ACE) and now I have stable 20 volts and the macbook has turned back on.
Unfortunately I have a further problem, it works very slowly and the fan runs at maximum and if I disconnect the charger it turns off, it's as if the battery was disconnected.

I have acer laptop tmx314-51 with part no 6050A3020501.
The laptop is working fine on adapter and battery is also charging and when adapter is disconnected in on state the laptop gives backup on battery and gives good backup.
But when laptop is powered on through battery only the laptop does not power on and there is 0 voltage on battery connector.
I have not not tried another battery as it is not available locally could this be a battery problem.have checked discharging mosfet and there is no shorting to ground on any pin of battery connector.

Hi, I was given this laptop by my uncle who said:- It would occasionally shutdown if not plugged in
- battery had been replaced
- touchbar would "strobe"
After fully charging the battery, with bluetooth disabled, no LAN cable and only wifi enabled, the laptop stayed on (screen on) for about 6-8 hours. Allowing screen to turn off while not in use, and it went for over a day.
