Got an old DV6700 with the infamous 67M-A2. It starts, all the lights come on, and the fan spins for a little over 2 seconds. Shuts down, and then the cycle starts over again in an endless loop. Heat the chip or is maybe the bios a mess? Board is the DA0AT1MB8H0 rev. H

Probably the gpu. You can try pressing on it or overheating it to see if it will turn on. If it does do a rework and you should be good to go.Keyboard not detected, press F1 to continue...Comment

I have a really weird problem, this motherboard was working normally, someday it just started and all fans were running but didn't want to post, tried resetting bios, checking CPU and it was getting warm tried external gpu, flashed bios with programmer, but same problem.

I have a problem with this configuration:
ASUS PRIME B450M-A
RYZEN 1300X (I replaced it with ATHLON 200GE - the same behavior, the processors are functional, tested on another board)

I have two such machines which is having this issue. After shutdown the system starts on its own in a minute. It does not start immediately. It takes around 20-40 seconds before it starts again on its own. This is driving me crazy and not sure where to start ..
Some very important points :
- Laptop does not auto starts after shutdown if adapter is connected.
- It will only auto start after shutdown if the laptop is in BATTERY only mode.
- I have tried replacing batteries with a known
- if I shutdown the laptop with adapter connected and lets say remove the adapter after 5-10

Hello, can I ask for help with my problem? I have an HP EliteBook 840 G1 laptop and I have this problem - when I turn on the laptop, it usually starts up to 5-6 times ... the keyboard, power button, LEDs always light up, the fan spins and after 1 second the laptop turns off. After several attempts, the laptop turns on and starts to start, but then CapsLock and NumLock start flashing - 3 times and the fan spins at full speed. Symptoms: pressing power on, fan spins up but no POST, never getting to BIOS.
I already replace bios without sucess. Can someone give me a tip ?
