Macbook Pro a1990 activation locked

Hi,
I received a 2018 MacBook Pro A1990, and the motherboard was replaced, presumably purchased on AliExpress. The motherboard's activation is blocked because the previous owner didn't delete it. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I called Apple, and as expected, they asked me to activate the process with proof of purchase for the original computer, which I find very difficult, so the proof of purchase from AliExpress will be of little use. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If you are planning on doing this for a customer or selling it, I would return it for a non locked board. You can use a activation bypass from Checkm8, however this is a paid service. Remember that the lock is on Apple's side so if the MAC is erased again, it would need to be bypassed again. It's a one off payment though I believe.

The activation lock is linked to the T2 on the board BTW, so you have to swap that with one from a unlocked board to circumvent it.
